Los Mochis-Great fenced area behind the NEW Smartgas fuel station. Attendant is there and area is completely fenced and safe. Restaurant and Subway in front too
S. of Los Mochis. Large truck stop.. Has Security. About 194-195 km mile marker. Restaurant on premises. We did not eat there.

Great truck stop for a safe night. There is a gas station called Smart in the front with a restaurant attached to it. Behind the gas station is a very large gravel lot that is fenced in with a 24hr security guard. The bathrooms are very nice and they even have showers. We parked and stayed the night for free. A nice and safe spot for a good nights rest after driving all day! 😁

Report Check-InThe options to park along this stretch of the road between San Carlos and Mazatlan are pretty slim, so we opted to gas up and stay here for the night. Decent amount of road noise, BYOTP for the toilets, well-lit, gated and fenced and patrolled by a security guard. We felt safe and secure

Now a restaurant, rather than a Subway. It's ok - we had dinner.
Sadly, the site with BBQ, electricity, etc is in disrepair. Certainly no problem for us.
A few midges - noseeums, if you like - the night we were here. But, overall, a great place to stop for the night.
