As reported, a safe, not too noisy spot to spend the night. restaurant on site, fuel, etc. Try to park out of the way as north and southbound truckers do trailer swaps until about 10:00 at night.

The highway was noisier than the parking lot. The restaurant had good food and beverages. Security guy popped by (gave him 200 peso tip). Park out of the way somewhere, there are truck / trailer swaps done till @ 10/11 pm then it was quite, well quieter than the highway.

Good spot after coming off ferry at night. constant traffic noise from highway but cab pretend it's the sea.
water and picnic bench under shade, parked all the way at the back. felt safe with friendly staff and security guy around.

Great truck stop for a safe night. There is a gas station called Smart in the front with a restaurant attached to it. Behind the gas station is a very large gravel lot that is fenced in with a 24hr security guard. The bathrooms are very nice and they even have showers. We parked and stayed the night for free. A nice and safe spot for a good nights rest after driving all day! 😁

Stayed one night. Felt totally safe with the guard in the fenced area. Hoooot showers available for 20p/p.

The options to park along this stretch of the road between San Carlos and Mazatlan are pretty slim, so we opted to gas up and stay here for the night. Decent amount of road noise, BYOTP for the toilets, well-lit, gated and fenced and patrolled by a security guard. We felt safe and secure

Great overnight spot. Quiet, nice setting against farmers fields, secure and lots of room at the back for RVers to park away from the trucks.

A few amendments to previous comments -

Now a restaurant, rather than a Subway. It's ok - we had dinner.

Sadly, the site with BBQ, electricity, etc is in disrepair. Certainly no problem for us.

A few midges - noseeums, if you like - the night we were here. But, overall, a great place to stop for the night.

Secure lot where you can stay overnight if you fill with fuel / tip the security. Restaurant as well! Best one-night overnight option heading south Guaymas to Mazatlan.

By far the best place to overnight in Los Mochis. Quiet. Gated. Patrolled. South of town. Friendly.

Just out of town and much more mellow. Various RV’s here parked along the back fence. It’s free and feels like a secure location as night falls.

Safe fenced area behind the Smart Gas station. Noisy but good half way stop on way to Mazatlán. Tip the security guard about 100 pesos and all is good.

S. of Los Mochis. Large truck stop.. Has Security. About 194-195 km mile marker. Restaurant on premises. We did not eat there.

Just a gasstation, but very friendly staff. There is a site with electricity, water and BBQ. All for free!

Los Mochis-Great fenced area behind the NEW Smartgas fuel station. Attendant is there and area is completely fenced and safe. Restaurant and Subway in front too
