Look for the turn out on north side of Mex 3 with white fence posts and cattle guard. Drive thru gate and cattle guard. Road continues for a while but turns sandy and loose so we pulled out and spent the night. Approx 1000 meters from highway. Walked the road another mile but never found the trailhead. Easier to find than other Mex 3 locations Closest services are 20 Miles east in valle de Trinidad. Hot spring there as well, but we couldn’t find it

Arrived by bicycle. Good spot for tent camping as you can easily get off the track and hide amidst the vegetation. Flat ground. Super cold overnight in February and water froze, it is over 1'000m after all!
Report Check-InSorry, my map app lead me to the wrong location for my last post about this place (could be the app, most likely was user error). This place does exist and there is no gate or anything blocking entrance which is marked by a white cattle guard and a giant sign. There are a few places to pull off along the road before reaching a house. We weren’t successful in locating the hot springs. We stayed closer to highway because it appears the road could be slick after rain.
Report Check-InCouldn’t get to this place. No trespassing sign and barbed wire gate going across road.
