great spot. feels like encanto, surrounded by mountains on all sides. hope you don't mind traffic noise or trains. I think the view is worth it

Please be careful! Google will change the location it’s directing you to! If you’ve boondocked for awhile you know it does this a lot. But the place it changed to was private property, and like a dummy, I went in, thinking it would lead to a public road or something, when a local approached me and said there was no campsite, and that he’d had the same conversation with like ten other people recently also thinking there was a campsite there. So if you find Google is directing you to private property, it’s the wrong place! You’ll need to continuously double check that Google is sending you to the right place as you drive. It’s a serious glitch that they need to fix.

Dark. Soothing sounds of river road rail & rain on roof today!

Report Check-In

This marked location is ok, by the rail road and is as described in the other posts.
If you keep driving down that road, go under the road it takes you to a spot by the river, fire pit, cozy spot to pull your vehicle into the woods and we barely heard the train at night.

Light snow on ground - as described! Thank you for the post- it’s a good spot for a quick nap

Nice spot just off of the Interstate next to a river. Very quite considering it’s location. The train tends not to blow its horn much but it might wake you if you’re light sleeper. Evidently there’s a great restaurant nearby but we left before it opened.

Very beautiful spot right off the highway, next to the river, with a bridge and a train tunnel.
Trees for hammocking
People are tubbing down the River.
It can be a little noisy with the train and the highway but I was still able to sleep just fine. The train seemed to not coming as much during the night.
Stayed the night and all day the next. Even had a cop parked down the way from me and no one has said a word.
A little windy.

Great spot.

Nice/picturesque view of the river and train tunnel. Not a place for light sleepers as you will feel and hear the trains movement. 4wd recommend if it is snowing.

Great location. Gets you out of the heat of the valley. Trains are loud. There are a couple port a pots j at the start of the road. Short morning walk to poo.

Sheriff drove past and didn’t stop.

Report Check-In

Beautiful location!! The sunsets and sunrises were amazing. The location is next to the highway and a train track, so expect significant noise through the evening. Also, about a half dozen cars showed up right at sunrise to begin fishing.
