Chile
Arrived with just a few minutes of daylight and no supplies so decided to stay here for 1 night before get into the nearby beaches and NP. Beautiful town, friendly people, fresh sea food every morning and free wifi at the public library. You can park here or at the end of the road to the east.

Had two very quiet nights here. A few locals around and in the evening some cars with loud music, otherwise only the sound of the ocean. there is light the whole night.
Report Check-InCalm and secure spot by the lighthouse. During the night we heard some noise of people walking by or sitting on the benches by the cost line (right in frony of the parking lot).
We are currently traveling with a puppy and it was a bit complicated, there is many many street dogs and apparently some dangerous viruses for are little puppy, who had to stay with us in the van the whole time (except when we took her out to go to the bathroom).
PS: We didn’t find any showers or public toilets.
Report Check-InNice and quiet. We went by the lighthouse it is more quiet. Huasco people are really nice and easy-going! Go to the Guyana bar to meet them and on the fish market in the morning. Wifi didn't work but claro yes (4g)
Report Check-InSelected to go to far end of beach past lighthouse. Windy but died down after sunset.
Chile free wifi in plaza in front of Iglesia.
Police rousted us from sleep at 11:45pm, checked passports and left.
Then the group of teenage boys arrived with music and booze. Partied until 2am. Quiet after that.
Curently, a new costanera is build. As it seems, the parking possibilities will get fewer, if any.
Report Check-Inwe stayed here too. The parking areal is good, and even for a 6,5 m rig is enough space. No open wifi anywhere around :-(
Report Check-InGood spot to park and sleep. The sound of sea and wind are your mates

Nice place but noisy close to the library on saturday night there is a karaoke until 3am. Lovely town so peacefull.
Report Check-InLovely town, very nice people! Public bathrooms and showers are available near the library for 300 Chilean pesos or free at the gym (bring your own TP). Luis, a tour guide who works at the first kiosk from the library towards the light house, is super nice and can give you all kinds of information for free!
