Chile
April 22nd, 2019, road open.
The road further into the Valle Exploradores is currently closed due to a massive landslide. A local told us it might take 1 or 2 months to clear. You can go as far as 5km past Cascada la Nutria, 24 km from Puerto Rio Tranquilo.
Still closed as of Feb 03 2019, will take few more months.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Not closed now. You can keep onwards till Bahía exploradores. There are still signs that say it's closed but it's not.
Report Check-InThe road is actually closed a little farther ahead, where the other warnings are marked.
I talked to a worker today, who thinks the road will open in about two weeks. They have cleared the landslide, and are in the process of filling in part of the flooded valley to create a new road. It looks like they have about 200 meters left to build, but the water is deep.
Report Check-InAs mentioned, the road is still closed. Glaciar Exploradores has a floating dock there where they are ferrying people out the the glacier for their tours.
Report Check-InStill closed, the guide told us it may take several more months.
The boats are taking only persons and the price (around 4.000 pp) for transfer is normally included in the price of the tour.
New situation: first take a tourist bus, then a boat trip over a new lake (10 min), a walk of half an hour and then another bus.

Report Check-InA one kilometre rock slide fell on the road. The workers said it would be closed for a month. We tucked in by the waterfall for the night.
