Nice, but expensive state park campground (35$). Good trails to the redwood trees. Free Internet at the visitor center.

This place is to die for BEAUTIFUL!! Doesn’t get prettier than this. It seems the “loops” have the prettiest spots which seem to fit smaller vehicles or trailers. But I definitely wish I could have gotten a spot here. Drove through it on my bike and it’s like the jungle book!
Report Check-InDisappointing campground and very expensive. $35 and the campground is just not very nice. Does have showers however.
Report Check-InSummer usually fully booked. We got a last minute cancellation so booked over internet for 2 nights costs additional 7.50 per booking. Showers quarter a minute and no dump for RV’s. no AT&T signal or wifi at visitor centre. Hikes in red wood forest are simply amazing. We did a 12 mile loop from campground to beach- fern canyon really awesome to enjoy this place. Shot hikes are plenty and beautiful too. Saw 4 bull elks in full glory. Totally Worth it.
Report Check-InBeautiful old growth red wood forest with streams, hikes and elk everywhere
