On google maps it’s behind the listed Campo Community Center as Campo City Park didn’t come up for me.

Overnight all good, ive been here for almost 12 hours now and havnt seen 1 person.

Bathroom was open, semi clean and had running water that didnt taste too bad, good enough for teeth brushing.

Can hear the trucks on the highway down the road but it’s in the distance and earplugs supported the cause.

Lots of trees and picnic tables and playgrounds.

Had 2 bars of lte / 5G here with T-Mobile !

For first overnighter it was pretty good!!

The only purpose, this place serves is if you accidentally went to the picture canyon place and regretted it. This is the backyard of a school, there’s basketball courts, a tennis courts that have been run down and not kept up with, the bathroom was pretty gross. The water Spicket’s are probably OK but I wouldn’t drink out of them long term. It’s not so much a campsite I was like an awkwardly placed park. Would be OK for one night in a pinch.

Parked right by the baseball field. No issues, trains didn’t seem to start up until the early AM, or we slept through them!

As described! Stayed here for a night in late October & was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming it felt for a city park. The only downside in my opinion is no cell signal (Verizon). Would totally stay again!

Stopped for lunch. Super friendly local let us know that the lot on the SE side of the park is now part of the park. It has 2 picnic tables, water, and. A fire ring. He said big rigs are welcome to park there.

Quiet safe spot, in a very small rural town. Playground and bathrooms open 24 hrs, school close by, please no noise , be respectful to people living close by. We arrived late at night and no one bothered us.
