Description

BLM campsite just off the gravel road past the parking lot for Prophesy Wall. Turn right off the gravel road. This is the only spot you may need high clearance, then the road flattens out. Don’t camp at the first fire ring, it’s technically private property. Continue past the sign that says “you are now entering public land” to a second fire ring. Beautiful campsite in the desert with lots of open space for a few vehicles and tents. Gravel road gets light traffic at all hours. Otherwise this spot feels very remote.

Pretty, super quiet, easy to get to and open space. Windy at night & cell with booster

Amazing spot with gorgeous views. easy access to any vehicle. firing setup on open area surrounded by prophecy wall and Red mountain wilderness. cell service on Google Fi available.

Report Check-In

Great views, enough flat space for one or two smaller trailers or vans. Good ATT signal, cold at night.

All good up here. Any vehicle can access.

Awesome spot! Totally accesible in any vehicle. You'll have to drive down the washboard road but take it slow and you'll be good. Entrance to the actual spot has a slight uphill thing you have to clear so maybe slight higher clearance might be needed. My school bus made it here so it can't be too bad! Awesome view, two bars T-Mobile. Quiet and far from any highway/light pollution

stayed a couple of days. Nice place, but windy...
Nice and quiet at night, only a animal came under our van and made some noice :)

at the other site of the road there is an other camp spot. Behind some trees, so more shelter. No no camping signs, but no public land sign either... the spot was occupied during our stay

Report Check-In

We stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed it. Only 2wd needed. This spot is small, so maybe 5-6 vans could park up if they became really friendly.

Report Check-In

Amazing, quite, nice. Best view over the canyon. Nobody was there. Highly recommend that place. You reach it like descriped before.

Camping along Lower Sand Cove Road on BLM Road just behind the "You are entering public lands"-sign. All other sites along Lower Sand Cove Road are on private property and day use only. Nice 360° view, very quiet. Close to Snow Canyon and Gunlock State Parks.
