Description

Nice spot for sleep, you sleep almost in the beach. The beach has a restaurant with rooms for rent and sleep. Very quiet, we ask to a lady and she say it's ok. Shadow for the car. Is 3km of dirty road but no need a 4x4. Probably in better conditions in dry season.

It’s all changed and is now a money maker. They charge $500 a night !!! The highest we’ve asked for in all Mexico. He offers a cheaper $200 space but it’s soft sand and unworkable ! Don’t try. The track down has two low hanging cables too. And is steep narrow and slippery. A shocker when another car comes. Cars are skidding and struggling. We were fine in a superduty truck camper though. We didn’t stay and came to Zipolote where you can get hook up and showers etc for $150 a night.

We are here with a 7.5t offroad truck down to the beach. It goes with courage. But our truck is built for this kind of roads. But there are cables hanging very low over the road. Our truck is 3.20m high. We had to hold up a cable to fit underneath.

The beach is nice. It costs 200mxn per night. It is very warm here. There are dogs barking on the beach at night. Our dog joined then on the couch because 4 dogs were barking around our truck. No quiet night! We still stay 2 nights here. It is Easter.

Rough/ steep road coming down, probably not suitable for big rigs. Once you make it to the beach excellent place. Flat parking right on the beach/off the sand, friendly people, restaurant on the other end of the beach.

Beautiful spot ! Nice beach with turtle during the night 🤩! BUT definitely the last 400m of the road are very steep (20 to 26% !!!) and not very wide .... we succeed with our 24" european RV but we were lucky to have rear wheel drive to go out from there. With a front wheel drive absolutely no chance to climb the hill ... Better to know it in advance!

Amazing spot!! Right on the beach, you can have shade from the trees for your vehicule if you’re not super high (we’re 3m high and it was ok).
On the beach you can also be in the shade all day which is great cause it’s very hot.
The beach is nice and you can even do a little snorkeling and see some cute fish.
There is a restaurant on the beach but we didn’t try it. Locals there are very friendly.
We stayed 1 night but could’ve stayed longer!

the beach is beautiful, wasn't very nice to swim when we got there. but, let's talk about the road.., its not easy at all! its very recommended to do it 4×4 ! what we don't have.
we got flat tire (not the road fault) and there is no sun or moment of flat balance place to replace it. some local guy helped us, we gave him 100 pesos. the spear tire wasn't the best so...we continued, the problem in the road is not the stones or the dirt and sand, it's going in curves and very steep up/down. in the end we left the car and walked for 300meters. still on the way back at the 2 first curves up we slept a bit, again, we had a bad spear tire with us but still it not easy!!

Beautiful little cove perfect for swimming & relaxing on the beach! Some shade in the morning & late afternoon, few bugs compared to other spots, several level spots for camping. No mobile reception, but there’s a nice beachfront restaurant at the other end of the beach that has wifi, good food, cold drinks, plenty of shade & comfortable hammocks!

As others have mentioned, the access road is pretty steep & rough, but it’s totally manageable for a 2WD van (with a confident driver). This spot is pretty popular with locals, so I wouldn’t expect to be alone, but everyone is friendly & most people leave by sunset. We spent 2 very lovely nights here— one of the best spots on this part of the coast now that they are cracking down on vanlifers in Zipolite!

The road to get here has some ruts and steep sections, and portions with room for only one vehicle to get by, but the worst bits are paved and we made it up and down fine with our 2wd combi. It’s a beautiful bay, good swimming, shade for parking and shade on the beach. There’s a couple restaurants on site and pit toilets. We had a quiet night, would come back here!
