Description

Exited Brazil. After stamping out of Brazil on my US passport I waited for the Receita Federal office to open at 2:00 PM (closed between 12 and 2 pm). There was a line of Venezuelan trucks and vehicles that were issuing entry permits for Brazil. I only returned my TIP, the customs’ agent check the info match cancelled the TIP and proceeded to drive to Venezuela.

No longer on the main street, but at the exact place of this gps point. Park here and walk to immigration. Lunch between 12 and 2. If you have an EU vehicle (or any other “special” case) only the “inspetor” can process you, we had to wait a while as he was not there. Friendly . No vehicle checks at all.

Now, on the main street between both countries, Brazil has fruit/veggie/meat/fish control. They say it's because of the mosca da carambola. I don't succeded to get from them any rules about what is allowed and what not.
