Latest Check-Ins

Early spring, we're the only campers on a Sunday night (compared to North Park near the dam and big boat ramp, which looked half full). T-Mobile service spotty: occasionally had some bars but never any data. Farmhouse across the small dirt entry road and cows pastured along the road with only a strand of electric fence (mentioned only b/c untrained dogs would have to be leashed).
Rainy/cloudy, some bugs, but could have eaten outside if the weather were better. Lovely clean campsites, all with water access and fire rings, no picnic tables. Wish it were nicer weather to paddle!

I can't believe this is free! Absolutely amazing camping by the river. So quiet other than the sounds of birds and some aircraft during the day. The nights are perfectly peaceful. A bonus is cell reception so we can work, and stream movies at night. Five stars! There's a dump station just down the road road at headquarters. There's potable water, and it's free.

Update: Ticks are a HUGE problem here. April & May seems to be the worst. If you have a dog it will be especially bad. He brought in so many! We will likely have to fog our rig to get rid of the ones we can't see.

Level campsites right on the water. Very quiet area.

Report Check-In

It's open now. Arrived on a Friday morning. It was pretty packed but found a spot. Most of the camp spots are right on the main road next to the lake.

Great kayaking in the Bruneau River Delta. The birds are awesome.

Report Check-In

LOTS of bugs!!! Fire rings were filled with trash. We were so desperate for a spot that it didn’t matter. Free and lots of pelicans (but we couldn’t enjoy the view with the doors open).

Report Check-In

April 6 closed due to the virus.
Lots of campers here. Lots of wind. Pretty crowded but is open are places to camp. 3 long drop loos. Great birding at the end of the road. American White Pelicans!

Report Check-In

Gate is closed so I'm assuming now closed for the season.

Report Check-In

Stay 14 days for free. But space with many lots at waterfront.
