Description

Natural hot spring. 7000 pesos/person. Open everyday from 10-19:00.
Low season price: 5000pp

Termas were destroyed in May 2020 by a landslide. One person died. In December 2021, reconstruction looks complete, but the road is being rebuilt and so it is closed to the public. Sad landscape along most of the road with evidence of extensive destruction.

Latest Check-Ins

This place is still closed and did not looked like they will open soon. New buildings have been placed but the pools are empty and the road leading to there is full in construction. There is a small 'original' pool to be found just in the tree-lines with warm water, but watch out as the wooden construction is long overdue and bottom of the pool looks a little filthy.

Report Check-In

Reconstruction looks complete, but road is being rebuilt and the hot springs are not open- the pools are not even filled. Maybe they will open for high season?

Report Check-In

Nice therma, surrounded by wonderful rainforest, paid 5000 pp., the bigger pool is the hottest one, no shower, friendly locals. Stayed overnight on second parking slot, no problem

Report Check-In

price is 7000 CLP pp.
there is two warms pools and the fresh river.
it's a familly place so there is a lot of kids in the big pool.
pools aren't very clean but warm enough. WC but no shower

Visited here on 22 Dec 2019. Cost $7,000 pesos per person. Outdoor pool larger than the first pool as you come in. Children seem to be in the first pool. Changing rooms and lockers but no locks. Lockers can be seen from the larger pool. Seemed to be a very locals pool but friendly. Definitely worth a visit especially in the rain.

7000 CLP per person... you can rent a towel for 2000 CLP from the señora in the house if you ask. Termas were very hot and relaxing... nice after a day of hiking... even nicer with a little bit of rain coming down. Pretty views of mountains...

Pretty disappointing especially compared to the last hot springs we were at - Termas Geométricas. Now 7000/person. There’s two swimming pools. Not quite as hot as you would hope and there was tons of children playing and splashing around like a normal pool. Not worth the money for us.

Report Check-In

Nice municipal hotspring, hot swimming pool outside surround by forest.

no shower.

maybe because it's low season (august) we pay 4000 pp

we were ont allowed to stay for sleeping in the parking lot just in front off the terma, but the guard pas ok for the next parking lot just 10 m after the therma.

Nice spot

Surprised to discover the baths are open in winter- just the one though. We paid 5000clp pp. Came here on a very rainy and cold July day and the hot water was absolutely wonderful. Changing rooms, toilets etc available, and we were even able to cook lunch and make a fire completely undercover in the little hut opposite the bathrooms. Definitely worth a stop on the way from Chaiten!

Report Check-In

the price is 7000$. there are two pools, like swimming pools. the natural ones are closed. there are changing rooms, clean bathrooms but at first sight no showers. two cold showers at the entrance to the pools. a hot one down at the river(it is basically a little arch with a pipe with holes in it)might take a minute to warm up.
perfect for a rainy day.

Really good natural spring with hot hot water. It cost 3700 clp because it is managed by the city hall from Chaiten (lucky us otherwise it would be quite expensive to visit the place). Definetely a cheap price for what it is. It has 2 parking lots but the people who run and live at the place are quite sketchy with parking during the night. There are signs that state that you can park during the day only so no overnight allowed here. We are cycling and asked if we could overnight there and they sent us to a camping spot 100 meters up the road which charges 5000 clp per person. We wanted to wildcamp so we started to go up the road but as soon as we left the hotspring the owner of the camping showed up saying that he had a camping, we mentioned we were just going up the road and he started threating us that if he found us wild camping we would know who he was (what the heck???). We replied with have a great day and left to wildcamp a bit down the road from the hot springs.
