One of the Presidios parking lots. Paid parking from 8am-6pm, after that free. Stayed here for the night, no problems, quiet and safe. Nice view for a urban parking lot!

We wanted to sleep here tonight but the police came at 8pm and said we can’t sleep here.

Report Check-InNice parking space with view to the golden gate. Day parking 10 dollers until 6 pm. At night free. Almost flat. 45 min from downtown, but there are uber bikes @ the main post.
Report Check-InExcellent, safe, quiet place to park. My husband and I stayed two nights (Wednesday and Friday) while visiting SF. We parked near one of the parking lot’s street lights for safety. There were a few other cars parked in the lot in the evening. No one knocked or disturbed us while we were there. We parked there in the evening around 6/7pm and left by 8am when paid parking started.

We left before 8am. Quiet. Not leveled but it was ok. The parking lot is pretty big. Not the dream spot, but useful in a city like SF.
Stayed in the visitor center parking lot for the night. There are a lot of parking lots to choose from. Free from 6pm to 8am.
Took Uber/Lyft into the city after parking. Great place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful on a Saturday night.
