Description
Very old buildings, all weather beaten. R190 for a stnd with private ablution, which was in a state of neglect, or R170 for shared ablutions, which didn't look too bad. i don't see the point of having a caravan park right next to the beach but surrounded by six foot tall chicken wire fence and no beach access.

There's an old comment about security issues. Hhe security guard said the new fence they have up now has been in place for just over a year, and since then there have been zero issues. I agree it's annoying, but I prefer having it over security issues.
Price was now R250 per site. Sites by the beach were more.

The fence around is a bit annoying, but provides good security. Direct access to the beach and a lovely sunset.
Clean campsite with friendly staff. Beautiful location, slightly elevated, directly on the sea with an impressive sandy beach and sometimes huge waves. Long walks on the beach. 24 hour security, illuminated at night. We didn't use the sanitary facilities. Discount for seniors (ZAR 210 for 2 people per space). Very suitable for BigRig. Good starting point for Bird Island (1.5 km) and the open-air restaurant Muisbosskerm (4.5 km).
Report Check-InPaid R280 with private small ablutions. Had to repair the toilet but water was hot and beach access good, gates get locked at night, no problems.
Report Check-InCamped for easter weekend. Lambertsbaai is one of my favorite places went every year but first time camping... Walks to shop and restaurants such good memories. The camp is decent and fairly priced.

Clean facilities, hot showers, nice staff. Very good cell phone signal. Regarding the former post: there is beach access, but it is locked at night for security reasons. We paid R205 for a seaview plot in February 2018.
