Our first camp in Namibia couldn’t be better. Great infrastructure, with private showers and toilet. Amazing landscape. Owners very kind! Definitely stop here! 👍🏽

Report Check-In

A superbly well appointed and set up campsite with such friendly and welcoming owners. Each site has its own kitchen, bbq, firepit, shadey veranda and lovely, lovely bathroom with open air shower with a view and hot water. A very clean and refreshingly cold swimming pool in a pretty garden. Great views, it sits above the road but the road is very quiet. We did some great hikes! And of course bought fresh bread, butter and some lamb from the farm.

Fantastic campsite with stunning views of the valley. Each pitch has its own toilet, shower (with hot water), sink, braai spot, and lighting. The owners are super nice, selling meat, bread, wood, and more. We booked on booking.com and our name was on the board against a pitch number when we arrived... superb. Number 10 is at the end and is great for a little separation. A little breezy in winter but would definitely recommend this gem.

Amazing place. One of the nicest/best stops we have had on our travels through Africa. Friendly and generous too. Beautiful camp, ablutions, scenery. I want to stay longer!
Highly recommend.

Report Check-In

As everyone has said this place is special, it’s worth the stop for a night. Boeta, the friendly owner, sold us bread, jam, meat for the braai. One of our favourite experiences sitting with the fire burning as the sun went down over the mountains. The next day he gave us a bag of dates for free as “that’s what cyclists need for energy”. Absolute gem of a place.

180 pppn for SA residents or 220 pppn for international. we stayed 3 nights and we did a lot of activities for free : 4x4, mountain bike, hiking trails.
wonderful open air shower, kitchen, brai, electricity...
clean and big swimming pool. amazing landscape. 10 pitches but we were alone or 2!
friendly farmers owners who sell bread, wood and meat.
we loved it and we will come back : 5/5.

Absolutely fantastic campsites with gorgeous view of the valley. The owner, Boeta, is extremely kind and welcoming. At his farm across the road, you can but meat, bread, jam, spices and beer when available.
Highly recommend !

Fantastic. Boeta, the farmer gave it to us at the "old" price of N$160-00 pppn. Apparently it is now N$180-00 pppn. He is improving the shade and most sites have 220V with a 2Amp circuit breaker (no power appliances).

Amazing campsite, echo everything that has been said. Real gem and well thought out set up and kept super clean and organized. Did the 4x4 sundowner lookout spot, which has great views. A definite recommend spot if in the area! Thanks Boeta and Kirsty for the organizing and hospitality!

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot with amazing views and sunset! Very good setup with individual camp and ablutions, with the most fabulous shower views. Took the 4x4 track to the top of the hill which was lovely! Owners very friendly and polite and make the stay very comfortable with amazing homemade freshly baked bread, jam, grapes and meat!

A real gem of a campsite! I can only reiterate what others have said, this place is 5 star… in a spectacular location and with the loveliest owner. Someone has really put some thought and effort into this place. We cannot recommend more highly. I just wish we’d had the time to stay longer, try some of his home produce and do some of the hiking trails. Sadly we were short of time and just made a stopover - but I’m sure we will be back!
Still $190 pppn, with immaculate private ablutions and hot showers with a view!

Report Check-In

Excellent campsite, great facilities, nice view and very well maintained! Great value for money: 190 NAD ppn. MTC signal with good internet.

beautiful and functional campsite with heart and soul. we enjoyed the crystal clear pool in the heat of the day after a hike up Mt D'Urban. if nobody is around to check you in just choose your site so long. some of the sites have plug points for fridges (site 8 and 6 i know off)as well as usb. all solar po powered . the campsite is a family project , run by Boeta and Marietta, built by his son who now lives in Australia. Beta and Marietta live at their farm nearby and you can buy the most delicious fresh bread , meat butter and jam from them, and they also helped with fixing a puncture in our tire. they are most friendly and helpful and staying at this camp was an all-round great experience.

Report Check-In

We booked for 3 nights but only stayed one. The ablution block is really nice and modern but the campsites are too close together and they were too close to the road for us.
The owner, Kirsty, is living in Australia which we found strange.

Report Check-In

perfect place but electricity for phone on all sites, for freezer only at 1 and 4
who cares :-)

This is a 5 star facility with heart, soul and personality. It's hard to fault this campsite, except it's a bit windy at times. Highly recommend this spot as a must stay to any overland travel itinerary in Namibia. Nice hiking, running and 4 x 4 trails to explore and there is even a swimming pool! SADC rates apply and so we paid N$160 pppn and our 30 month old is free.

The best campsite i Africa and believe us we have tried a lot.
This place have the most wonderful people running it, the best free range meat and homemade bread you can buy and absolutely fantastic privat clean kitchen/ablution for each campsite. Plus the stargazing is stunning.
The owners name is Boeta and not Bernard as stated below.

If no one is at the reception, we were told that you are welcome just to pick a site and then check in when they are back.

Absolutely a great place to stay. Benhard the camping manager is super friendly and told us about some nice hiking track. The private ablutions are really luxurious and clean. Views are amazing and each site has its own braai / fire place, water, power, lights. Price is 195 N$ pppn and firewood is 45 per bag. In our view very good value for money.

Report Check-In

Very nice campsite with great potential. View is spectaculair and ablutions are an example to the tourism industry. Plans for further development are present and sound healthy. For now, a very good place to stop for a day or two. Price and services as presented earlier. MTC connection irregular. Beautiful skies at night.
