We were so looking forward to a few days here. Unfortunately this campsite does not deserve the praise it gets from previous campers. The campsite is unkept, grass is long. The toilets were filthy and bug infested. There was a TV blaring in the restaurant making it unpleasant sitting there. We did not return for supper so can’t comment on the kitchen. We had no electricity on site and no tap. We didn’t see the owner only dealt with a member of staff who was friendly. Unfortunately there are not many options around here. We paid 10000pppn

Quiet place, not many guests during ramadan. You get your own toilet/shower, which are okay. Local restaurant with basic food. Camping is on grass, perhaps three sites. They have some thatched wooden porches to sit in the evening. Bay just opposite the road, beaches are a bit further away. 5000pP, incl kids.

5,000 TZS pppn for camping. There is a restaurant (no menu) that only seems to be available in the evening, but I might be wrong. 7,000 TZS for quarter chicken, chips and salad, or 12,000 TZS for half chicken. 2,500 TZS for 500 ml beer. Frequented mostly by locals, this is a calm and relaxing place to stay and does not have a party vibe (a good thing!). A little run down (e.g., the toilets, cold shower) but a nice place. The lady owner is lovely. There is a night guard. A bit far from shops.

Cold shower, needs a bit of TLC, but does the job for a night.
Nice and quiet. Reasonably flat grassy plot.

At 5000Tzs you can really not complain for what you get which is a parking spot. Basic cold water shower and toilet. Reasonably quiet. It's a good stop after entering Tanzania from the Revuma river ferry to visit a bank, get insurance from the shop by the Total garage and buy a sim card at the Vodacom shop in the same street as the bus terminals. Everyone very helpful and friendly.

Not so stunning by the way! 5000 TZS camping per person, a room 20000 TZS. Basic ablutions but OK!

Stunning campsite in a lush forest right across from the ocean. 5000 Tsh pppn. Ran by a charming polish lady and her family. Also offers B&B in private rooms. It has a little bar & restaurant with very reasonable prices. Highly recommended
