Paraguay
Special permit (Autorización de Visita) is required to access this area, you can get it for free at Oficina de Areas Protegidas: Tati Yupi main entrance.
This reserve managed by Itaipu Binacional is more oriented to research than tourism, you are free to walk around the administrative area and near the river but to visit internal roads and trails you need to go with a park ranger, lots of wild life especially birds. They allowed me to use shower and electricity from a guest room. Good internet access near main building.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
we had a permit to spend 2night here. peacefull place. not easy to arrive near the quincho but perfect if you are autonome possible to walk and discover alone. lot of wildlife. we enjoy. road is ok even when is wet.
