This is a day use park only. Lots of activity after dark at the east end of the park and it's noisy. Regular parking spaces and parallel parking along N. East Juniper St. There is another parking area at the west end of the park by the hotel. It's less busy and tends to be be more quiet after dark. This is a very large park, well-maintained, nestled in a neighborhood, and the perfect place to picnic, catch up on some rest. Bathrooms can be found next to the playground at N. East Juniper St., but they are locked at sunset. There's a skate park, playground, BMX bike park, picnic pavilions, walking and biking trails.
Report Check-InSmall quiet park right by a motel and residential area. A vehicle stopped by around 10:30 pm to check us out (we just saw the headlights come up really close) and then left, so it looks like they patrol the area just to make sure no one is camped out for a week or so. We only stayed the night. Very quiet, got good sleep!
Report Check-InSpend 2 nights here, cool spot. Quiet, porta potty’s, trash cans.
Stayed in gmc 2500 van.
Still valid, nice parking lot next to the park. According to the lady at the motel the rule is to move the vehicle within 24hrs. Great for a 1nighter of self contained vehicles.
Report Check-Inquite parking lot directly at the beautiful park with a creek. stayed one night, no problems.
