Stayed one night. Geared more for big tour groups. Went on to Ngepi which was lovely.

we asked the price by whatsapp : 235 rands per people per night. Too expensive, we were going to Ngepi (220).

Lovely place with great pitches on the river. You can see the park with plenty of visiting game across the river. Boat trips look good. Ablution block clean and hot water.

We checked this place out but chose to stay next door at Ndhova instead which was considerably cheaper (N150 instead of N210) and also much nicer (larger pitch with bigger opening to the river and private facilities and thatched kitchen hut). Having said that, Mahango is perfectly nice, so a good option if Ndhova’s riverside pitch is occupied.

Mahango NP is AMAZING - don’t miss it. Despite the wet season, we saw loads of game here - better than Etosha.

Came to check out the campsite and took some photos. Some spots looked nice but only one with not much shade was available so we left to Ngepi Camp which in my opinion is much nicer and original and it was also cheaper.

Beautiful campsites next to the banks of the Okavango river. En route to the Mahango National Park. Activities are available: morning and sunset boat cruises, fishing trips, bird watching, game drive to the park.
Community ablutions.
NO MORE toilet paper in the morning!!!

Excellent location and friendly staff, this lodge and campsite will be a highlight of any trip!
I am not sure why the opening comment says no electricity- there IS ELECTRICITY in every campsite!
Treat yourselves to a great meal here!

Great place. Everything clean. Very good restaurant. Good pool. Nice view of the river. Beware of the hippos at the camping area.

Excellent campsite and facilities. Our 3.2m high truck fitted in to the campsite easily. Campsites right on the river, looking onto the National Park- excellent game viewing and fabulous birds. Campsites have power.

Great safari lodge with huge but dark rooms. The deck is a superb with great views - we saw Buffalo, elephant and kudu within the first five minutes

Great place. Small but nicely done campsites with power points. Lodge well maintained. Superb deck above the water. Great spot for hippo lovers! Very nice and professional staff. We stay an extra night.
