Something not right?

Description

We have visited this park again before we crossed the border to Guatemala. We drove through the "Zona Arqueología", on the gravel road we crossed two rivers and before the third river crossing we stayed at the large natural pool. Toilets in the area, but closed. Good and cheap food available at the "restaurant Familiar Christian"! (The price is made up of 20 pesos / person park entrance, we - although three days in the park -. Had to pay only once You pay at the entrance)

very nice place, cheap (you pay 20$mx per person to enter the village). lots place to park. we couldn't reach the marked place because of drown roads (careful during rainy season), but you can still reach wonderful places before being blocked, with a standard camper van. we stopped just 1km before, next to papaya. it's a perfect place to reach before or after crossing the Mesilla border.

water is clear, river with pools, perfect for a swim. we were alone there, very quiet, don't hesitate and go there! 👍

archeologic zone is closed for now, we didn't see any reopening date

Seriously a stunning spot! So glad we made the detour. Keep pushing until you reach the point marked. There's a beautiful blue water shallow pool perfect for swimming and the ruins are just up the path. No one seemed to have an issue with us camping and all were friendly.
