Mexico
You can see the tower about half way through the bushes to the left. You drive to a parking lot, which is not visible from the street. We walked through the gate to the Laguna and could see thousands of flamingos breeding here in the evening.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Gate was locked and there was a sign that you are only allowed in with authorization. I guess it is to protect the flamingos. You will see tons of them along the way between el Cuyo and Rio Lagartos though.
Report Check-InGate was locked so we couldn't drive in. We walked in just to check it out, looks like a good spot if the gate were open. But, buggy!
Report Check-InWe didn't slept her because the flamingos are at a other place wen we wehr there.but the place is beatifull, and the dirt road from rio lagartos to there was in a good shape
Report Check-Inthe whole street IS NOT RECOMMENDED for rigs, wider than 2,10 meters! very bad conditions half the way to east, 4x4 recommended when wet, gets pretty muddy!! narrow driveway to the gated and ruinous watchout-tower, opened the gate and spend a quiet night (many mosquitoes!!)
PROs: amazing wildlife next to the track
