Beautiful views overlooking the lake. We opted to go east of these coordinates which takes you up the hill for a better view of the lake. However, the road up on the hill is full of holes and is a little sketchy. Our sprinter van and a Jetta made it OK, but the drive was a little stressful. The road to get to the original coordinates was fine. There’s also pit toilets down there and lake access!

Report Check-In

There are spots both to the east and to the west of the GPS coordinates given here. We went to the west. About a half-dozen spots on the dirt road paralleling the lake front, plus another half dozen or so parking lot-style in the small lot by the outhouse. Most will need some levelers. Great views across the lake, no shade here though. Great 5 bars of cell by T-Mobile. Lots of bird life on the lake. Easy access when dry, maybe more difficult on the access road when wet. Otherwise good road if arriving from the east. We came from the west through the Centennial Valley from I-15, and it was mostly rutted dirt, parts might be impassible if wet.

14 day limit stay signed posted all over the place. This location is absolutely beautiful with amazing AT&T and good T-MOBILE signals. Pit toilet nearby. Easily accessible, a little bumpy but overall the road in is great!

Road in was either plowed or super well packed. Packed snow on road; was totally fine with my Nissan NV (RWD) with chains. Plenty of space to spread out, a good few people ice fishing; only a few stayed the night. Deep snow off the road. I couldn't find anywhere else to camp, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Beautiful lake side campsite suitable for vans, trailers, 5th wheels, and Class A.

beautiful spot right by the water with lots of wild flowers this time of year. not the best lake for swimming be wary of leeches! #leechfest2022

Last mile is a dirt road that (in parts) is rutted, potholed, and washboarded. Took it slow with my Travato. Front of the spot near the fence is perfectly level. Beautiful location very close to the lake with mountains as a backdrop. Lots of waterfowl and no bugs this time of year. Very quiet, peaceful, and clean - please keep it that way! Saw lots of boondocking rigs along the road to this location.

Impossible to reach without wheel chains since mid-November

Great area a little crowded from my liking but it worked for a quick overnight

Found a spot by the lake. A lot RV’s and trailers already good thing we a got a spot away from others. So quite and slept good. Good view of lake with sunset and sunrise.

this spot was awesome! beautiful views of the lake. I went further down the road there are several pull outs to camp with more privacy. awesome service I had 3 bars on my comcast phone & Verizon phone at pretty much all the spots. unfortunately the lake currently has toxic algae and is not safe to swim in - not for dogs either! i called the ranger to verify this. there's a vault toilet where the gps is tagged. lots of gnats like other people have mentioned. overall an excellent spot.

Tons is space and hiking trails just up the road. Not always quiet because of the atvs.

Very beautiful. Found a spot here but didn’t end up staying due to how windy it was and the fact that we forgot stakes. Will have to return another time to enjoy the views. Plenty of other open areas along the road to set up camp.

Lovely site off Henry’s Lake will fit small trailer. Fishing is good with launch area for kayaks or inflatable boat for day users. Insects can be intense by midday, but early starts and late afternoon great.

you're parked next to RVs on a lakefront, but it sure is nice. no tree cover, but the lake makes up for it. lots of nats, but in four days...not one mosquito bite.

Report Check-In

Solid free spot. I would say it could comfortably fit about 6-12 rigs depending on size Not a huge site. Lake is clean and the views are solid. Solid Verizon service!

One negative thing was the bugs. wowza! Super gnatty even with a bug net...because of that not sure we would stay again.

Report Check-In

Beautiful views from this lake site. We ran into some wind loaded snow patches on the road in May. But overall good a bit bumpy roads. Windy but scenery is awesome.
The Google Map location leads to a first sight, but further East and West are more sites with fire rings.
