Description

Within National Park. We stayed in the loop F, parking and space for tent next to it, picnic tables and fire pit. Close to toilet with running water, water faucet, kitchen sink and trash bins. Shared bear boxes, but the rules allow storing all food and smelly items in a hard-sided car. Nice views of the lake, sunny spots and trees for shelter, evening programs at amphitheater. Nice but not inexpensive ( w/ tax nearly USD 30). Showers available at nearby RV Park.

E241/tent only loop. 1/2 price with an Access Pass. Bear boxes & a warning to keep shoes inside due to elk liking to chew on them. 🤷🏼‍♀️ You can hear the lake but can’t see from here. But the area behind us is very private. (See pix!)

Bridge Bay Campground is open again. We spent 2 nights and paid $37.66 per night. Nice campground with clean restrooms and friendly staff. We got a spot on the B-loop, which was open enough for our Starlink to get a signal.

All the spots are very close, so not much privacy if you are looking for that sort of thing.

Report Check-In

On this trip, we have been to six national parks and this campground has to rank at the bottom. Very little privacy, no showers, and very poor sites. Would not recommend. Avoid at all cost.

place was packed, signs entering east entrance said full for almost all sites but we pulled in at 11 and there was a clipboard with a few available spots. lucked out and parked in G296. nice clean spot with picnic bench and fire pit. ($8 bundles of wood available) very packed barely any privacy in first couple loops but back loops e-h have trees separating sites. would have been worth it if we could have had a fire and got wasted but ended up pulling our RTT out and crashing at 1am. 28 bucks for the spot. was extremely cold last night too so pack for that. i believe it got to around 30s. oh also it right by yellowstone lake, very nice views and good fishing. would come back again if we got here earlier. nice bathrooms too, very clean.

Good campsite with everything that you need. Cold running water and toilets. Big campsite but no noise late at night or early morning so all good! Next to the lake & store. no showers but we had showers at grant campground for $4.75 which is about 20 min drive away - lots of personal showers to use so would recommend!

great place and they had a campsite available for us...last night they are open for the season.

large campground in Yellowstone national park. not much for privacy. nice clean bathrooms with flush toilets and running water. free dump station and potable water at entrance of campground.

Big Campground (432 sites) operated by Xanterra, very crowded but surprisingly quiet. Sites can be reserved: $ 28. There are often Bison and Elk nearby at the meadows close to Yellowstone Lake.

Within National Park. We were lucky to get one of the last lots in loop F (tents only). Parking and space for tent next to it, picknick tables and fire pit. Close to toilet with running water, water faucet, kitchen sink and trash bins. Shared bear boxes, but the rules allow to store all food and smelly items in a hard sided car. Nice views to the lake, sunny spots and trees for shelter, evening programs at amphitheater. Nice but not inexpensive ( w/ tax nearly USD 30). Showers available at nearby RV Park.
