Description

Head down Round Lake Road. Keep to the left. There is a Round Lake Community Hall across from the boat launch. Picnic tables and fire pits with pit toilets. Sign on the hall says to pay $15 to the farm next door as it is maintained by volunteers! We drove next door to the farm and paid the man who owned the farm. Nice guy!! Round lake is a stocked river for sport fishing. Also, firewood on site. Assuming it’s for use!!!

Gorgeous spot overlooking the lake. Lovely and quiet surrounded by farms. We just stopped to check it out, didn’t stay for the night. One other camper there.

Report Check-In

Great little spot right by a beautiful lake. $15 for the night.

Report Check-In

As noted, a lovely, quiet spot with covered picnic area with fireplace and wood. Clean toilet. Was one of the only open options in the area so early in the year but we loved it!

$15 a night. Fairly quiet but safe spot. Very well maintained. We were here for 2 nights to visit friends in Smithers. Not really big rig friendly. We are 54’ total - 35’ unhitched. We had to situate ourselves in the main gravel parking area in front of the hall. The camping area is behind and on the right side of hall and on grass. It was very wet when we were there and access to the camping area is not suitable for large rigs - very dippy, narrow, uphill and muddy. We checked and were told we were fine where we were. Good cell service.

It is now $15. A lovely, quiet and safe spot. There's even a lilac bush in bloom and loons calling. There's a fireplace under cover with wood and a picnic table.

great spot, we usually avoid spots where we have to pay, but this is worth it, just sleeping in the middle of the country side near a lake and surrounded by cows and birds. had a great night ! and the owners are lovely

Thanks round lake residents.

Space to camp by the water opposite the hall. Toilet was clean and was stocked with paper and wipes. Peaceful night except for a truck coming to pump the lake in the morning.
