The busiest Walmart, I have ever seen in my entire life!! The parking lot was literally full of cars! I waited in line for probably half an hour to check out… They had almost every checkout open, including all self checkouts… Just a crazy busy Walmart!

Report Check-In

Nothing to add. Typical Walmart site plus a lot of trucks.

See previous comments. A very busy place but fine for overnight. Try to get away from the highway toward the sides. Quiets down after 10pm. Bring earplugs.

Confirms previous comments, stayed 2 nights along with few other rigs. Felt safe and quiet. Used WM washrooms and spent money there. Went to cecil garcia gym for showers at $10 each.

Moved moved here after getting run out of Home Depot. All RVs were parked on the perimeter next to I-40. Pretty noisy night. No trash bins by cart corrals. I won't stay here again or in Gallup.

Good place to park. It’s a super Walmart so has about everything.

Report Check-In

I pulled into the parking lot and asked if it’s ok to stay for the night, it’s ok to stay no problem. They security guard drive around all night so it does feel safe. I had no issues except for the 18 wheeler that pull in right next to you, that was Annoying I ended up moving down towards the center of the Walmart to get away from the trucks that ran all night long. The big rig have a large section of there own past the pickup area. But they do park straight down the Home in Pharmacy section at the end, so make sure you go in between the market entrance and a Home in Pharmacy entrance they don’t congregate in that area. The highway is a little noisy and the trains do run all night long with their horns. But other Nat had a good nights sleep and will be moving on.

Report Check-In

I spent 2 nights here and the security guard asked me to move to the front of the store with the other campers. Yes, there is road noise, being right next to I 40, and there is train noise, but the worst noise was the camper who decided to crank up their generator at 7AM. Go back to bed! It's the coldest time of day and your bed is warm from you being in it all night. Other than that, nobody bothered me, directly any way.

One of the better Walmarts I’ve stayed at. A couple other RV’s parked at the back. There is some noise from the highway but at least no teenagers reving thru parking lot all night. A nice breeze at night too, better than Arizona.

Report Check-In

About 10 other car campers and RVs here in the back of the lot along the highway. Security patrols, but i parked with everyone else and had no problem. Stayed one night

Report Check-In

Busy Walmart. Many of us here. The road noise isn’t bad but you will hear train whistles.

Report Check-In

We saw a few others parked on the grocery side and joined them. For some reason a lot of big trucks park here, so go to the other side. 5G TMobile signal.

Report Check-In

Asked customer service if overnights were permitted, they said yes, on the perimeter of the parking lot. I stayed on the garden center side, perhaps shielded from noise by other buildings. Still traffic noise, but nobody bothered me.

Report Check-In

Parking is best on the far side of the lot (over by grocery) for overnight. They close at 10pm so no restrooms.

Report Check-In

Super busy Walmart right on the highway. it was pretty loud and there were train whistles all night long. Because of COVID-19 the lines to get into the Walmart were super long. I'd probably pass on this and try the Cracker Barrel next time, at least there would be less trucks passing through.
