Nice, quiet and level parking lot in a beautiful setting right next to a sandy beach and walking trails. Great camp spot when visiting this area. There are no restrictions to staying in this parking lot as is common in Newfoundland. Highly recommend to stay here.

Agree with all preceding comments. Very popular due to the ferry close by. Beautiful beach. Nice hiking trail as well
Report Check-InGood place with homes and lights are nearby but overall dark and quiet - slept well.
Report Check-InPerfect spot to stop after the ferry ride. 5 minutes away from the terminal. Large flat parking lot. Very clean toilets. Nice sandy beach and walking trails.
Report Check-InFlat lot at the end of Kyle Ln. Beautiful spot, but can be windy. Washrooms available here, beach and boardwalk trail as well. Cell/data is good. No signs indicating no overnight parking.

quelques VR qui arrivent.
Good place for an overnight waiting the ferry
Report Check-InThere is a second entry down the road from this one that has the correct coordinates
Report Check-InAmazing place to stay near the ferry terminal, whether you’re arriving from Sydney on a late ferry, or before boarding an early ferry the following morning. It’s not just convenient… it has a stunning seaside trail that was a highlight of our stay in Newfoundland. Nothing posted discouraging overnight camping (and there are plenty of other notices around beach and hunting rules, so they would have said something if it was an issue). There were 3 other vans in the lot when we stayed. Lovely beach for swimming in warmer weather. Two ponies were grazing the fields. Saw a few bearded seals in the sea while walking the trail. Clean washrooms 24/7 with cold water only. Also a hose with spray nozzle. Very quiet and mostly level gravel lot.
Report Check-InThis is the second time we have stayed at this lovely spot. The bathrooms are open and are well stocked with toilet paper and hand soap. There’s a great loop trail to check out that starts ( or ends) at the boardwalk. Be sure to check it out! It was a great thing to do after our long van trip to get here for the ferry trip tomorrow morning.
Report Check-InNice location. Toilets, trash cans, access to beach and short trail. Quiet.
Report Check-Inquiet place to camp. toilets and change rooms are open for the season. picnic tables on the beach. beachside walk. perfect place to stay
Report Check-InAs previously stated. Nice beach, quiet at night. Trails are a worth a walk. 2 other vans came after us. Plenty of room for a few more rigs.
Report Check-InGreat spot. Lots of room, very quiet. Enjoyed our night there. The hiking trail and beach are really nice. Lots of locals enjoying the trail, no one seemed to care we were there for the night.
Report Check-InAll the facilities are closed this time of the year, no toilets available. Quiet spot.
Report Check-InNot an official campground (as indicated by the title). But a gravel parking area at a beach and trailhead with lots of amenities. Perfect location before or after ferry. Level parking space for approx 8 RVS any size. New red fence, clean stocked flush toilets available, even this late in the year.
Report Check-InNothing to add that’s not already been said. Falling asleep to the sound of surf!
Report Check-InThe beach is very relaxing with plenty of picnic tables and chairs to read a book. 2 toilets & change rooms available. Lots of visitors during the day but very quiet at night.
Report Check-InAbsolutly gorgeous! Only some minutes from the ferry. There is a nice trail along the beach. Lots of moquitos in the late evening...
Report Check-InEveryone's descriptions are accurate. It's a perfect place for before or after your ferry trip. Many others spent the night here on the night we were there.
