What a hidden gem. The camp sites are primitive and some had some left behind trash, but the access to the river and privacy was top notch. I was the only person there for the whole evening till the next day other than drift boats going by. Tons of trout to be caught as well. The train can be loud but didn’t bother me.

Small campground. Road in is hard pack dirt/gravel. Dispersed free camping for cars, SUVs, vans, smaller RVs, and trailers. 5-7 spaces some with shade, several not level, right next to the highway and train track. Noisy. Max length 30 ft. One pit toilet, boat ramp, no other amenities. TONS of mosquitos and bugs. The river is beautiful. I day camped here and left due to train and highway noise. Nice little pit stop.

Great little free camping area on the river at the fishing access site. There were probably 5 primitive spots. At this time of the year (early April), we were only there with one other car. This was a great serene camping area to break up our trip from northern Montana. Our Promaster van made it just fine. Well manicured gravel road to pull into the campground off the main road. Flat sites with a few picnic tables and fire rings. Put toilet available as well.

Very nice surprise on a Saturday evening , I was taking a chance with the hope to find a little spot… the campground was almost empty , shade, river, a little bit noise from the highway but nothing bad. I put myself near the ramp for the boat… don’t think we can… but it’s so lovely and nobody to bother in the camp… free!

Everything as stated. Workers at the entrance digging a well but we were able to get by them and they left at 7:00 PM. Most of the sites had tents in them but a couple were available. Stayed with no problem. Mosquitoes were abundant. TMobile 2 bars.

As described. We parked next to the river for a wonderful night's stay. No trains went by during the night.

Great spot by the river! The first spot on your left as you come in is the largest, and furthest away from the others. Pit toilet, pretty clean. 7 days free camping, can't beat it although I imagine this place is pretty busy during the summer.

We stayed 2 nights and felt safe, a bit of noise from the freeway during the day and a train came through one morning around 8am. Otherwise peaceful sleep.

No service on Verizon, 2-4 bars LTE on tmobile.

Five sites with picnic tables and fire rings, a few more without amenities. Vault toilet, easy to get to. Close to the highway but it's not too busy at night. Free camping for seven days in a 30 day period.
