Description

Tres Lagunas Cabañas and restaurant - three lakes, 1st one is huge with a panoramic view to it as access stairs seem broken/rotted away, 2nd is a good size and you’re able to swim in it (short hike through the forest) and the 3rd one is average size a little further on - all apparently with crocodiles. Entry is 35 pp or if you wish to stay the night it’s 50pp (inclusive of entrance fee). There’s a restaurant (we didn’t eat here so no feedback), pet parrot and toucan and also small cocodrilos and tortoises in pond areas. WiFi is 50peso for the day (never used it so unsure of strength), bathroom includes showers which are really clean, includes toilet roll and hot water! It’s a comfortable pit stop on the 307 and can accommodate any size vehicle in the car park area which is well lit at night by solar lights and relatively flat grass/gravel area.

You can park your van in the parking lot close to the street. So there is some noise. You will also get the WiFi signal here. password: 58398067

the restaurant is bad and expensive. Paid 100M$ for two watery orange juices and a cup of instant coffee. Waste of money.

Not a bad place to stay and to have a shower. They tried to charge us 100MX pp, but we said friends (from the comment on Ioverlander hahaha) paid that for two. So, another Guy came tosay us 100MX per vehicule. Good to ask...

Very special place in the jungle, peace of heaven, to rest and be calm, not so cheap, not expensive also, the cabs are ok, but it’s necessary to bring something for the moskitos
