Latest Check-Ins

Definitely far from road. Wasn’t crowded in early September. Peaceful river, pretty flat, no litter. Views might not be spectacular for the Dempster, but still nice. It’s on one of the highest elevations of the highway so it does get cold.

Great place still within the Tumbstone Teritorial Park. Please keep it clean so that others can enjoy it as well. At dawn we even saw a porcupine. No phone service.

beaitoful spot within the park, rangers do come and check in and ask that you are swlf contained, and leave no human sewage, toilet paper, (seriously its not hard to put it in the burning fire, or into a garbage bag and pack it out!!) garbage, and do not leave food waste anywhere as there has been a lot of bear activity here. Do not allow bears to become habituated or this place could be closed. Theres plenty of room for many groups of campers.

the access to the river is excellent. Don't cut trees and leave it cleaner than you arrived.

Absolutely amazing place, directly at the river with a beautiful view to the mountains.

beautiful place right by the cold river, billions of mosquitos when we stayed there

Good spot, feels and looks like a campground, very 'civilized'. Several sites, can get busy. Beautiful sunrise over the river.

Great spot on the river. Access road was a bit muddy but not as bad as the road through Engineer Creek CG. We shared the riverside with 2 other TC's and there was lots of room. Took water from the river to remove about half of the Dempster mud from our rig.

Superbe endroit éloigné du chemin tout près de la rivière plusieurs places pour camper

As described! beautiful location with plenty of space. a couple of level spots by the river. pretty calm, almost can't hear the Dempster. we were the only ones at the site.

Beautiful spot by the river, we were the only one. Super calm and clean. Plz keep it that way !
There are abt 2 -3 flat spots (max) by the river and then a couple others down the little road from the highway also.

Absolutely THE most picturesque boondock camping site we've visited. Turning off the Dempster follow the tracks down to river where you'll find nice level packed gravel among the trees. Spectacular views in every direction. Some snow remained during our June 2 visit, and the pictures I'm posting were taken at midnight. Be bear-aware and please keep this site clean and pristine.
