Hot and powerful showers at the port. Coin-operated. $1.25 gets you 7 1/2 minutes.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We came in around 6pm and both showers and restrooms were locked. There was a sigh that due to vandalism the facilities are open only during office hours. So apparently only until 4pm.
Report Check-InInformation is accurate. Both inside and outside showers. Cold free on the outside and quarter pay for hot showers.
It definitely is a fisherman’s shower but it does the job.
Report Check-Inwomen’s shower ate my quarters. I was with my husband so used the mens, which worked. Just curtains so definitely wouldn’t have stayed if I was alone!
Report Check-InI'm a woman traveling solo. I agree with the others that it did look a little sketchy, but I didn't have any issues. There was really no one around at all when I was there on a Saturday afternoon. Definitely wasn't the cleanest, but it was cheap and the water was hot and strong
Report Check-InThe pier offers washrooms with showers. Hot showers for $1.00 for 6 minutes. Bring quarter there is no place to make change.
Report Check-InHad a nice hot shower here. I agree with another poster below that as a woman, I likely would not have showered here if I was alone due to the lack of being able to lock a door. I felt safe with my husband parked just outside though, able to keep watch.
Report Check-InGreat showers! Simple, but perfectly clean. It operates on quarters, so make sure you have some. To avoid confusion: for the men’s shower my boyfriend confirms it’s the LEFT knob for hot water. For women’s the RIGHT knob gives hot water. The pricing starts at $0.50 for 3 minutes and goes up. For men’s $0.50 worked, but for women’s the shower didn’t start working before I had put in $1. It takes a bit for the water to warm up, but then it gets good and hot.
Also: they sell freshly caught fish at the port between the boats. We bought some fresh tuna for $3 per pound (uncleaned, you can get it cleaned and done for an extra $5 service charge). Super friendly people!
Report Check-InNot the nicest but hot and cheap. Located in a little building right at the commercial dock. Single shower stall in each Mens and Womens. QUARTERS ONLY. Posted sign states bathroom is only open 4am-3pm. Everyone else was claiming right knob was hot but my shower (Mens) was definitely left knob for hot.
Report Check-InGreat price/pressure, took 30sec to get hot water (AM, first use of day) - R knob =hot.
Report Check-InRolled by here around 6pm to check out the shower situation for the next morning. Bathroom doors were already locked and no signs posted indicating what time they would reopen. We didn’t stick around to check the next morning. Looked a bit sketchy from the outside, but I guess I shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover…
Report Check-InClean shower with curtain only. Paid $0.75 for 4.5min. Hot water was the right hand faucet and took about 30 seconds to kick into gear.
Report Check-InMaybe I’m too cautious, but if I was a solo-female traveler I’d probably skip this place. Shower only has a curtain and no way to lock bathroom door. At noon on a Monday there was a loud group of people outside drinking beer who could be heard while showering. I had someone with me so felt comfortable. Just giving my perspective 💛. The shower is hot and felt nice on a rainy day.
Report Check-InExcellent spot if you crave a longer shower. Starts at 50c for 3 minutes and goes up 1.5 minutes for each quarter.
Report Check-InHoly crap this was a great shower. Same price $1.25 for 7 1/2 minutes which is more than enough. You can also pay less to get fewer minutes but why would you do that? Easy to find right in the harbor and easy parking right in front. It’s obviously not a five-star shower but the water is hot and the shower pressure is excellent. I turned the hot water knob on the left about a quarter turn and that was all needed for the entire shower and it was borderline too hot. Wonderful start to the morning!
Report Check-InNOT CLOSED! took a nice hot shower there today. 6 min lasted longer than i thought, hot the whole time. turned my day around. worth every quarter.
Report Check-InNOT CLOSED! I just talked with a lady who had just taken a shower. Guy with her said that it’s $1.50 and if you pay for the mens side the women’s one starts working too for free.
Report Check-InShowers open during COVID. As mentioned no change maker. We stopped at Mr. Ed's for a coffee and they made change for us (super nice people and good coffee!) Women's shower is indeed free, hot and cold water are switched (hot on the right) I got fooled into thinking maybe I had to pay to make it hot and wasted 50 cents. Men's is 50 cents for 3 mins.
Report Check-InNice clean bathrooms. Women’s hot shower was free. They were shut when we tried to use the toilet at 5:30 PM. They were open the next morning when we went there at 6:50 AM.
Report Check-InShowers as described. Hot, clean-ish. In a public bathroom down at the port. Really wasn’t too bad! Bring quarters! Went to the Restaurant next to it afterwards (Griff’s on the dock) -not bad but a little pricey.
Report Check-InGreat hot showers, good water pressure in the restrooms. Takes quarter coins only.
You can have a cold, free shower on right side of building. This ist where the divers shower the sand of their wetsuits.
Cool, friendly place with boats and fishermen.
Report Check-InGreat way to wake up!! Shower was cold for me but I still enjoyed getting clean ~ friendly port!
Report Check-Inworks great, nice spacious hot shower. make sure to check the ports restaurant for some authentic originality...
Report Check-InGreat water pressure, hot water. One shower in the women’s bathroom, one in the men’s. Bring enough quarters (no change machine) and shower shoes.
