Something not right?

Description

Located between the Blackfeet Indian Reservation and the Glacier National Park, this campground is run by Native Americans (Blackfeet Tribe). Most sites are nothing more than a piece of grass, some are next to trees and a few are right at the water. The campground comes with hot showers and wifi (at reception). Approximately 100 sites, starting at 25$ (non electric) up to 55$ (electric & lake side).

A bit pricey, but with a beautiful view of Glacier National Park and with a fantastic lake for swimming.

What a disappointment this campsite was! The place is beautiful, but we clearly felt like we were bothering the girl at reception when we arrived, who was sitting on the sofas. Our G3 spot is ultra basic with no camping table (there were some on the other spots but not ours).
Then we couldn't do our laundry in the evening because all the machines were reserved and the visitor center closes at 8pm.
The girl at reception told us to come back the next day at 8am when it opens, which we did. We waited in front of the gate for 1 hour until I asked one of the guys in his pickup truck who was circling the campsite and he told me that no one was coming today! What a joke! What a waste of time! Thanks to this girl at reception for her lack of sympathy and bad information.

And the shower water smells terrible, and the state of the toilets, brown with dirt, suggests that they are rarely cleaned... and no soap to wash your hands.

we got a non-electric site along the water for $40. swam, explored the teepees, made a fire, and set up to enjoy the stars. lots of local families using the day-use area on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. only one bathhouse had working showers but they were good quality. staff was helpful and kind. the gate was closed 11-6, but some parties left around 530 to make it into the NP before road reservations are enforced at 6am.

Bathrooms are beeing renovated atm.
Still $25 for campsite without lake view and $40 with lake view.

Really friendly staff. A little unorganized, they gave me a site that didn’t have a marked location, but they resolved it quickly. Cheapest around and beautiful location.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a primitive site. $25 a night, fair price. The bathrooms are not very nice but the campground is quiet and convenient. The NPS campgrounds seem better maintained, but there is tons of room here and it works. The sites by the lake seem to have a nice view and there’s a playground for the kids. Nice family environment. We didn’t use the showers, but they have them.

Large campground with lots of spaces and access to lake (requires permit). Bathrooms are in dire need of renovation but they are cleaned regularly. I paid $25 for a basic spot and there's a $10 fee for the dump station (even if you're staying). Good cell signal with both AT&T and Verizon.

Wife is slow but do the job. Staff is very friendly.

Plenty of sites, no problem finding a field spot. Friendly staff. Free HOT showers (although the men's bathroom is in need of repair). laundry onsite (we didn't use though).

Signs posted saying no alcohol, no drugs, and no lewd behavior such as skinny dipping (lol). We enjoyed our beverages in a discreet mug.

Nice lake area, and good vibes from other campers. Field was windy our 2nd night, so if gusts are in the forecast maybe try for a tree site.

Field sites (tent only) were $28 the first night, $25 extra nights. Other sites (RV, beach sites, etc) were more expensive- like $40.

Good Verizon service. No ATT service
