I slept in my SUV and got “the knock” from a Sheriff at 1am. He did let me stay as I told him I’d be gone early in the morning. Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else as it wasn’t the most pleasant, but definitely not the most unpleasant visitor I could have asked for. ;)
Report Check-InNice quiet nights sleep. Nobody here except us. A few people stopped in the evening likely to rest because everything was socked in with fog. Really couldn’t hear traffic in our Sprinter. One bar of 5G with AT&T, three with our WeBoost and excellent bandwidth. I’m glad this spot is here as all of the campgrounds are closed and Forest Service CGs are few and far between.

Report Check-InThis was an amazing place to wake up at! Pretty quiet during the night, sporadic traffic. People did start arriving and stopping fairly early in the morning though.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot - had the whole place to myself. Right next to the street, but very little to no traffic from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. I pulled in after dark, but it’s a parking lot, so no problem. Pretty flat and slept great. Awesome view in the morning. No signs and no one bothered me.

Report Check-InAs described below. It's next to the road but the traffic didn't bother us since there was hardly any during the night. The view is stunning! Perfect spot to spend the night.
Report Check-Ingood place for small campers, great views. no one bothered us, but it's still low season, that might change in summer. some traffic noise throughout the night from the two streets (blue ridge parkway and buck creek road).
