Turn right at "public access" sign. nice flat spot at reservoir's edge. Loop road with lots of available places to pull over and park. Sand hill cranes as neighbors right now. pit toilet.

It was beautiful watching all the birds on the reservoir in the morning! Perfect little spot, but be careful to keep the bugs out. Swarms of midges and flies. Nothing seemed to be biting, but we did not explore much. Just spent the night and left.
Report Check-InGreat, quiet spot. But the BUGS! Gigantic swarms of weird little things that look like mosquitos but don't bite (thankfully). But be prepared for a constant high-pitched whine of epic proportions if the conditions are similar to when we were here (early August).
Report Check-InThis spot is nice and private, but full of cow 💩 so it’s very smelly. I highly recommend going farther down the road to the next public access sign that it a little loop with plenty of spots to choose from (called Little Camas Reservoir Campground I think) and a pit toilet there too. Good Verizon reception.
Report Check-InLakeside and peaceful. Clean pit loo. Short drive from hwy20, 1hr east of Boise.
Report Check-Inwhat is Idaho known for? potatoes and beautiful scenery, like this place. so peaceful, clean and calm. easy access, no 4x4 needed. pit toilet clean. 5 stars.
Report Check-Inbeautiful spot on the lake, so peaceful, lots of birds around. easy access, 3min on gravel, no 4x4 needed. pit toilet very clean. Idaho, you surprised us.
Report Check-InGreat spot to stay. The lake was dry when we came. I got my 40’ skoolie in there with no problems.
Report Check-Inthe reservoir is dry. it's open. turn at public access sign. pit toilet... enough space for an overnight
Report Check-InGreat dry camp spot, no one around on a weekday. The reservoir is nearly dry. Camped near northern end and 2nd pit toilet. Sandhill cranes and geese were our neighbors. Full Verizon.
Report Check-InGreat spot up in the mountains but we think we were a bit too late in the season. Area is very wet and muddy. Tried to park on the flat area and nearly got the rig stuck in mud. Ended up on the concrete slab in front of the pit toilet. Temp dropped to about -7C overnight. Propane heater working overtime. Incoming snow made us pack up and go because we were not confident about getting out in snow.
Report Check-InNice place, very quiet and peaceful, even on labor day weekend. Hard for us to find a level spot. No water at all, and everything is brown and crunchy at this time. Watch for wasps at the bathroom. Bathroom was clean and open. Good cell service for all 3 carriers. Didn't see any cows or wildlife but heard coyotes at night.
Report Check-InQuiet spot just as others describe. just head off the highway about 3/4 mile and there is a public access sign to the right. Just go around the corner and you are hidden from the road
Report Check-InGreat spot for dispersed camping. The reservoir is empty this time of year as others have shared, but the setting is quiet and pretty.
The pit toilet is at the first turnout, but there's plenty of additional space up the road.
Report Check-InEasy to get to. Peaceful wide open space. There were only two rvs down the way. We just went a little further and we were secluded. Pit toilets. Saw some people riding side by sides, but they never came close. Would stay here again!
Report Check-InThe reservoir was dried up this time of year but still pretty. This is actually a small parking lot with a pit toilet. This time of year it's not used so ok to spend the night. We fit our 25' trailer and a friend with a class c. Great at&t service. The road to this lot is small but has firm ground and fine to drive on. Antelope in the distance. There is a road that continues on to the north. Google says it goes to the road and it may but if you have a trailer or large RV I wouldn't recommend it. A creek bed runs through it so it's got a good size dip. We turned around and just went back the way we came.
Report Check-InNo water in the reservoir when we went, but the wild flowers and cows made for a delightful morning! clean pit toilet and several level spots, though we were the only ones there that night. great place to spend a night while making our way cross country
Report Check-InGreat place! I guess this time of year the reservoir was low cuz I couldn’t see water. Deserted, so many stars! Also 3 bars Verizon lte
Report Check-InBeautiful piece of our country just waiting for you to visit. And there is a really clean bathroom
Report Check-InGorgeous quiet place on the lake. There are lots of cows though, so watch where you step! It was super quiet all night. The cows were a ways down the beach from us. This morning they decided to move to the other side of the lake directly past our van... it got a little loud for a while with them mooing at each other, and the dogs had to be put on leash LOL other than that super beautiful spot and I would definitely stay here again!! And the cows make nice company! Please respect them, ensure dogs don’t harass them, and leave the area clean, so we can all continue to enjoy this land!!
Report Check-InGreat place and worth the drive if your are traveling on 84 and need a rest! Very quiet, didn’t see a single person while we were there. Easy to get to in any kind of vehicle, we pulled right up to the water and set up! The put toilet has a lot of birds nesting in the eves but other than that super clean and nice!
Lots of different types of birds to keep you company!
Report Check-Inturn right at "public access" sign. nice flat spot at reservoir's edge. sand hill cranes as neighbors right now. pit toilet.
