Description

We asked at the ioverlander point that it was stuck and they asked us 8 dollars per night. This place is the next entrance, there was a sign that said parquin 2 dollars, we entered, we asked and they gave us that in the week there is nobody to charge, only the weekends. It has shade and there is a shower. The place is abandoned. We spent two nights for free.

Latest Check-Ins

Update: the place is crowded late into the night and very noisy from 3 bars. In the morning, the parking lot guy suddenly wanted $10 more. Unbelievable, we just drove with "no hablo espanol". So don't stay here!

Report Check-In

The access road has a height limit of 3.40m and costs $1. The parking lot is difficult to navigate for large rigs due to a low-hanging tree and a narrow house wall. Max height 3.40m. The price $10 per big rig. The neighboring square is now separated from the beach by a new bar. Swimming is not possible here at either place. No amenities. Nice bars and restaurants in the area.

$8 the night right in front of the beach. Very safe and quiet at night, the guy in charge did not want to lower the rate even though we were 3 overlanders staying for over a week. Bathrooms and shower ok. There is one power outlet which can be used as well.

We spent two free nights here, they probably charge only from friday / week end! We always felt safe and even slept with open back doors because of the warm temperature. There is a faucet at the enter and a shower you can use only when workers have gone that is placed at the end of the parking (where they work during day)

Don't get this place confused with the parking next door - this is a very basic (seems abandoned) parking area whereas the lot next door has a food market/small boutique type area at the drive entrance, where there's a parking area (construction and waste ground) - all the small businesses and the land is owned by the monkey lala - see the review on here for there on how they'll likely try to rip you off ->
(Do not pay anymore than $6 for this spot, wifi is poor and was out for most of our stay (we had life laundry to do online so disappointing) and there's no camping shower (dismal flow at the pool shower with no privacy). Apart from that it's a friendly and safe spot opposite the P.station although not a secured plot and no security during the night in the parking area - only the hotel area.) whereas $2 plus shower charge for the 'abandoned' place.

We stay there 3 nights. It cost 2 dollars during the week and 3 the week-end. Noisy but very nice people around.
