Canada
Rest stop like campground on the river and next to the freeway. Some trees for shade, views across the river to Montreal. No reservations taken. Decent flush toilets, no showers. Picnic tables but no fire rings. $29.50 CAD for no services, $41.00 CAD with electricity. About 105 sites total, 50/50 nonelectric/electric.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
New ownership - the sailing club next door owns it.
50/50 split now between electric (50$ night) and non electric (40).
Portapotties for the nearest bathroom.
They have a small dep that sells ice etc.
You can also pay a 20$ deposit and use the facilities in the club house (about a 5 min walk away) - includes coin laundry, showers, and toilets. There is also decent wifi and a restaurant (pricey) but good to work from if you are happy to pay for a few 5$ coffees.
You can take the ferry (5mins away) to old
Montreal. Subway is 25 mins walk and runs all night - buses run until about midnight.
Def going to be my go to spot when visiting Montreal.
Close to the highway, but not to loud.
Report Check-InPrice Update 12.07.2023, Non Electric C$40 p.N., with Electric C$50 p.N.
Report Check-InNice spot near st Laurent river 5 minute walk to la navette fluviale (boat) that can bring you to st Helene island and old port of montreal for 5,50$
the price is 50$/ day for rv with electricity !
Great spot! They are about to close down for the year, but the it was great to be so close to Montreal while we passed through.
Water on site, power on site, but no public bathrooms that were open which was interesting.
Absolutely amazing views of Montreal!
Note: Power connections were 30 amp plugs only. We were not able to charge because we only have the regular 15amp extension cord.
Report Check-InBig rig friendly, pull through spots. Mostly a big lot for RVs near the highway as others have said. This was our second stay - we use it as a base camp to visit our daughter in Montreal and explore the area so it’s fine for this. Noisy near the highway. Right on the bike/walking path which we love. You can get virtually anywhere.
To confirm - there IS dumping and water. Not sure why another post says there isn’t. See photo I just posted.
There is also just parking in the parking lot for $10 and we saw a couple buses parked there.
Report Check-InExcellent endroit pour y passé la nuit. 35$ pour un site sans service. 15km de vélo pour ce rendre au vieux port de Montréal. Je recommande.
Report Check-InA nice place on the river St Larent
electricity but no dumping and no water
From the place you may take the boat directly to vieux port. Take care last boat back at 7 pm. Taxi cost C$ 25. :-)
Superbe endroit au bord du Saint Laurent. Situation idéale pour visiter Montréal par la navette.
Report Check-InLarge simple campground on the St Lawrence River. Huge rig friendly - we had no problem navigating and parking our 40’ rig with 36’ trailer! Water, septic and some sites had electrical service. Bike paths that go on forever right here so we did a lot of bike riding. Marina next door usually has shuttle service to Old Montreal. Some really great pedestrian/bike bridges nearby to allow you to cross the highway and go into the little downtown of Longueuil. If you’re biking take the big circular bike bridge a bit further down. Make sure to eat breakfast at Peché Matinal! Scrumptious and well worth the wait in line!
Not much here but we just needed a place to stay the night as we were gone all day. Highway noise didn’t bother us at all but worth mentioning that you can hear the highway.
Playgrounds for the kids just a few minutes walk away.
We were here on a long weekend (labor day) and the place was only half filled or even less so no one was parked anywhere around us so we had oodles of privacy. Some spots back onto the river with oh would be nice.
Our 76’ trailer fit in the pull through and still would have had room for an SUV to park behind us.
Potable water, dumping station - black and grey water.
Report Check-InLike an RV parking lot. Sites along with River front with a thin tree line for good views of the st Lawrence and Montreal. Quick walk to restaurants and shops in Longueuil. 20 minute walk to Metro.
Report Check-InMarina de Longueuil. Électricité, beaux emplacements avec vue sur le fleuve et Montréal. Près de la piste cyclable. 30 $ sans services, 40$ avec Électricité. station de vidange et eau. Très pratique pour visiter Montréal
Report Check-Ingreat place to stay to explore Quebec. there's even a ferry shuttle so you don't have to drive!
Report Check-InDecent spot. Right near the highway, so fairly noisy. 30 amp service at ~2/3 of the sites. Central water/dump station. $42 for an electric site.
Sites are close together, so no privacy. Basically an RV parking lot.
Not busy when I was here, maybe 8-10 others.
It is on the St. Lawrence, but the view across is industrial.
Good for a night, or two. Not sure I'd want to stay longer.
Wifi is available and is decent.
Report Check-In$30 for no services , comunal water station available .. very good for city RV stay over , internet decent ... cant ask for more
Report Check-InNot bad some sites do have 30 amp service. There is an easy ferry ride right from the campsite to downtown Montreal!. The ferry ride is $7.75 Canadian.
Report Check-InBelle place pour visiter la ville de Montréal il y a un camping et une navette pour se rendre à Montréal
Report Check-InConvenient location for getting downtown Montreal. Nothing special as it’s truly just a grassy parking lot with hookups.
