Description

Forestry campsite with about 10 sites dispersed around a forest clearing with a small creek nearby. There are pit toilets, picnic benches and firepits provided. The road to it is a little bumpy but easily passable, should be enough room for a full size RV. Cost is $8 per night or only $4 with an interagency or OAP pass. Maximum stay 14 days.

Great clean and quiet campground. Bathrooms and sites were clean and well maintained. There were only 3 sites occupied when I was there.

Great campsite. Good price, clean toilets, not crowded.

Excellent clean campground with new toilets. Stayed in spot 5 which I think was the best, room for 2 tents as well as a van or truck camper. Super quiet and lots of deadfall wood for existing steel ring pit fires. A few miles east is a roadside lodge and cafe. Cost was $8 per night, but their were no envelopes or steel canister to deposit the cash so it was free.

Level spots, very quiet even though many of the spots were filled, very clean and new looking pit toilets, picnic tables appear very new, and overall clean and good value. We have the America the Beautiful pass so we got half off as well. We stayed one night in a 24ft Rv in spot 3. There is also a group picnic area near the entrance. The whole campground is fairly shady, and the short dirt road in was well kept. Only wish there were more things to do in surrounding areas, but it appeared a lot was private property so we didn’t wander too much.

Great little campground! Well maintained, clean, grown in, private, quiet, plenty of spaces, and it was just of the highway. For $8 it was a great stop for us on our road trip.( FYI there was no cell reception for our Verizon phones)
