Description

Step into a little wild camping fairytale amidst a small pine tree forrest, only steps away from fine white sands of praia do luz south.

Hang up your hammock and listen to the sound of the wind breezing through the pines.

Even though it's so close to the sea, you're completely hidden. in off season noone was there but a few friendly fishermen.
buy some tainha from them if you can!
we ended up staying 5 days.

How to get here: when you get to the parking of praia do luz, turn right and just after a couple of meters turn left.

Estuvimos estacionados por 5 días, y pasamos año nuevo ahí. El lugar es muy lindo y muy tranquilo para dormir. En el puesto de los guardacostas hay agua potable.

Ficamos 3 dias neste local. Muito tranquilo em dias úteis. Sem infra-estrutura, mas perfeito para wild camping. A praia é belíssima!

Report Check-In

Passamos 3 noites neste local.

We stayed here for one peaceful and starry night.
When we got here, in the late afternoon, there were still many people in the beach for kitesurfing.
During the night, we were just alone.

But, because of the comments below, we doesn’t left the car alone for a long time - just to see the amazing sunshine in the beach early in the morning ♥
We left before lunch.

No facilities. Good 4G Vivo coverage.

We spend two weeks here staying in a cottage it is a wonderful laidback place. But they broke into a car of a local here. Theres other parking spots around to camp, this spot might not be so good.
Just be very vigilant wnen parking here

This turned out to be one of our favourite wildcamps we’ve stayed at in South America. Quiet except for the sound of the waves, and felt very safe- completely hidden from the beach. Only 5km drive from town and the main beach. Gorgeous place to spend for a few days and I imagine it would only be better in summer. I can’t recommend this spot enough.

***the comment below wasn’t there when we camped- we might not have stayed if we had seen it. Regardless we didn’t have any issues, although when we went for a surf at the main Praia do Rosa beach we were warned by multiple locals not to leave our car unattended. Keep alert.

The place is great. Like described. Unfortunately our iPad was stolen out of the. Ar in bright daylight, while we were sitting on the other side eating. The rest of the tecnical equipment, like cameras etc was left behind. Someone must have seen the iPad and quickly grabbed it, altgough we haven’t seen anyone near the car. A local told us, that there gave been thefts in the past. It might have been just bad luck... it‘s such a wonderful abd peaceful location. However instead of staying another night, we go to the police.

Perfect wildcamping spot! Stayed a week.
It also happens to be the best wave spot in Santa Catarina, for surfing and if it is windy for kitesurfing and windsurfing.
The road to get here is a little bumpy and steep, but many came here by 2x2. Big rigs will also fit (we are 7m long and almost 3,90 high). Nice 1-hr-walk from here to Praia da Rosa.

Very nice place to park and sleep.

Calm and safe at night.

At the end of parking turn left, and you can find a more privative parking.
