FREE 2 night camping in the town park, has nice bathrooms w/ showers, water for RVs, dump station, 10-25 spots to park, large grassy area, picnic tables w/ grills, next to the river. There are places to pitch a tent but they do warn about the sprinklers turning on at night (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday).
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This is a GREAT park! Very clean and pretty by the river. We are a 70’ rig and trailer and we fit fine.
If you can’t get a space here there is a huge fairground not far from here that you can camp at. Many many sites and you can just pull in and pay when they open. Wyoming state fairgrounds.
Report Check-InStopped in for a free shower & decided to stay overnight. Only 1 shower stall in the women's room so you may have to wait but it is really nice of the town to offer this for free! Stall is really spacious & connected to a large changing room so everything stays dry. The parking area was busy but campers were quiet. It was noisy overnight with traffic as you're in the middle of town. Nice, quick overnight stop though!
Report Check-InDidn’t stay overnight, just stopped for the afternoon. Got some work done & took a hot shower. Beautiful area, great that they provide this. Full signal, nice grass for the dogs to sit outside. Shade & spots to sit by the river.
Report Check-InFREE SHOWERS. Only reason we stopped here. Nice little park with shade and picnic tables.
Report Check-InStopped by for the night on my way north in my class C. It was probably halfway full. Definitely not a great tent spot but perfect to pull in and sleep soundly for the night and fill up for free!
Took a shower. Water was super hot and bathroom was clean. This is a sweet stop.
Report Check-Inas advertised. 2 nights stay. bath house and shower. I got in at 9pm after a long day on trails. deployed my RTT, rooftop tent and crashed. I always use earplugs in urban areas.
Report Check-InFantastic place, clean and beautiful. We heard the train once during the night, but that's the norm at any small town. It has an RV dump station.
Report Check-InOMG. It's a truck stop for people in cars. they park two inches from you, have high beams on at any time of the night. I haven't tried water or dump, wanted to leave those people brushing their teeth near their cars behind.
Report Check-InFree park. Free camping for 3 days. Dump and water available. Easy access.
Report Check-InYeah I couldn't believe this.
Better than most RVparks.
Lots of shades, dump station, water, shower, restroom, and parking for atleast 10 big rigs in this park. Free stay upto 2 days.
5Bar ATT LTE.
It's quiet at night, but it gets loud occasionally during the day.

We were here middle of may 2021.
Highly recommend! If you stay please support douglas by filling up on gas or getting groceries in town.
Nice little park in the city. Two night stay allowed but we only spent one. Well manicured grass, clean, dumpsters, free showers and toilets, free water and dump site. We don't normally stay in towns but this was one of the best urban sites we've stayed at in the last 4 months on the road.
Report Check-InGreat spot to rest and recharge - feee showers (HOT!) and bathrooms plus steps away from the river. There are some lights above but they weren’t too bright and didn’t bother me. Full cell service t mobile
Report Check-InGreat spot next to river east access to highway but no highways noise
Report Check-InVery nice, well-maintained park. Restrooms/showers currently under renovation
Report Check-InTraffic noise didn't seem too bad, train and traffic felt somewhat distant. Hot, free showers are in reasonable but not great condition (women's seemed worse). There were several other RVs there including someone who might live there close to full time. There seemed to be some locals hanging out there in their vehicles and we weren't sure what they were up to... But they also didn't bother us.
Report Check-InAs others have mentioned, a nice little city park with free hot showers and a 2 day limit. Ear plugs recommended for the nearby road noise. There's a free railroad museum with train cars you can walk through at the nearby visitor center, and the Wyoming Pioneer Museum is also free.
Report Check-InNot sure why this was marked as closed. I called the town office and they said it's still open. It is as advertised, a simple gravel lot with picnic tables, a dumpster, water source, hot showers, and an RV dump station. Lots of truck traffic into the night, and then around 1am super loud train traffic, yay! Guess it's ok because it was free, but bring some good earplugs.
Report Check-InGot here at 3 pm. Pretty little park, not many visitors. A little road noise from the highway nearby but I feel overnight will not be a problem.
Report Check-InAs described. Very nice. A donation is encouraged but we found no place to make one.
Report Check-InSmall park in the city with ample parking. Quiet. Hot showers. Restrooms. All free for two days.
Report Check-InAwsome place, as described. Free hot showers, heated toilets. Free Wi-fi at the visitor center 2 blocks away.
