Description

Spot of Scouts of México. We don't stay because expensive for us (MXN 170 per person) but checkin as an option for stay in Tepoztlán. We think is posible for Big Rigs but to go there the street are narrow.

was not possible for us to drive the last 400m with our 7m Citroen Jumper. The road through the very nice town is very bad. so we decided to turn

In addition to my comment, the way to this place is from all directions very narrow and rough, really nothing for longer rigs then around 6m/20 feet!

Nice place to stay, very quiet and safe. Nice clean bathrooms with mostly cold water. Swimmingpool closed at the moment. A little pricy with 200 Pesos per Person but a lot of space around and very friendly people from Scouts of Mexico. Town center is in walkinf distance with good restaurants.

We stayed here one night. It was a Saturday night. The price was $200 per person now. Lots of birds. Very peaceful. We parked and slept on the campground parking lot. Currently they don’t seem that they are open every night so I recommend calling ahead to make sure.

This campground was very nice. we stayed there during Carnival 2020. it is about a 30 minute walk to the heart of town on uneven stone roads so I wouldn't recommend high heels. amenities: pool, shower (my shower was cold, but maybe they have hot water during the day because I saw solar panels on the roof), clean bathrooms, ampatheater, available electricity (but not at campsites). the property is gates and has a very safe feel to it. cost: 150 pesos per person.

Really excellent place. Super clean bathrooms, hot showers that last more than 3 minutes, and water (although not near parking area).

It is now 190 pesos/person, which is quite high. But it’s really easy to relax here, with lots of shade and quiet (if not on the weekend).

However, I wouldn’t come here if you are much bigger than a sprinter van. The roads to get here through the town are quite narrow and low hanging branches.

30 minute walk to town.

New price 180/pp! It’s nice enough but not worth the price.

Do NOT come in big/wide rig!!! To get here through the narrow streets of the city is almost impossible and highly stressful.

Report Check-In

Expensive (160pp) but worth it for the wonderful hot showers!
Nice natural spot, with lots of grass, trees and birds and clean bathrooms. We had the place to ourselves.
The grounds are big rig friendly, but would be difficult to get it here through the narrow streets in town.
