Tent camping only. For a nice (primitive) spot to park your van, go 7 miles south to the “Frontier Outpost”. $10.00 to camp. Run by “John”. Sells beer too.

Enchanted Rock is not to be missed. A huge granite batholith. Hike all the way to the top and around on the sides on what looks like too steep of a surface. Granite has remarkable traction. Perfectly safe. Amazing mini biomes at the top in collector pools of water on the granite surface.

Looked like a wonderful place to camp but as it was the weekend it was full. We asked permission to shower and the park officer allowed us. Great, warm showers and fresh clean water to fill your tanks.
