The camping belongs to a big date and grape farm. The campsites are nice, there are some trees and you have view on the mountains. Some campsites have private ablutions, anyway there are quite some clean ablution blocks with hot water. You can drive around the farm area and to the Orange river. It is a quiet peaceful place. The fee is 150 Rand pp.

Weird and wonderful date farm in the middle of the desert. The campsite has two nice campsite that we would reccomend, but the others are exposed and seem more like a car park. If you can get one of the ones under the big shady trees, it’s a lovely spot! Clean ablutions and nice staff. Be sure to drive around the plantation as it will blow your mind... just beware of the weird tortoise trying to break into the camp...!!!!!
