As others have said, great off-the-beaten path spot for a night or two. Not a lot of trees to protect from the wind, but plenty of places to pull off, pretty level, and beautiful views. Tons of mosquitoes, which is to be expected by the water. Water levels were low, but we did see two people paddle boarding. If you’re headed into Utah after this, state road 89 is a GORGEOUS route - especially if you can catch the aspen leaves changing.

Pretty much as described. Depending on your interpretation, camping might only technically be allowed at the public access area on the North end of the lake, not the west one where this marker is. Stayed at the West one anyway, was the only one there for the night, and no one bothered us. Pit toilet was clean.

Same as a description. Quiet site near to the lake. Toilet and 2 bars internet 3G.

Great spot to stay the night. Off the beaten path. Didn’t see anyone else out here on a Monday night/Tuesday morning in August. There are multiple spots in the grass right past the pit toilets. Some glass and trash but not the worst I’ve seen. The water looks pretty low and very marshy. Tons of water birds to watch and enjoy in the evening. Beautiful place to crash for a night on the way through.

Second time in a month here, there is a sign stating when microblooms of algae are present it’s pretty much best to not touch the water. 25 yards from the pit, by the fire ring someone thought it would be a great idea to burn a pallet so watch for nails.

This is a excellent site, didn’t see any posting about the “bacteria problem” mentioned in other reviews. Two pit toilets (lift the handle up) Cows will be your neighbor and the stars will awe you at night. Extended LTE service for Sprint user.

Free camping next to Resevoir, cleaner than other places I’ve seen.

Nice big area. Very windy. Lake is contaminated so we did not stay. (Some type of bacteria) sign says not to swim or come in contact with water, boiling will not make it safe and if fishing, only eat filet....

nice mellow quite spots close to the lake.

Nice spot, can drive up to the lake. Probably gets real muddy when it’s wet out, saw an abandoned tow strap and some floor mats.

Good area w a ton of spots. I picked a spot a little past these coordinates- right in a big grassy area on the water. Some areas have a toilet and are accessible for big RVs and passenger cars, others require higher clearance and maybe 4x4 if muddy/snowy. This was my first time going to this area and I would definitely go back.

Loved this spot. Water front views. Toilet. Cell service . Lots of space.

State land camp site. Toilets and right on the lake. Good place to stop while traveling through.
