Road was open, but I wish it had been closed. To add some clarity. Google Maps shows this as some sort of Highway 49. And it is a secondary highway up until this point. It becomes a one-way path for a while before turning into a 4x4 ascent over the mountains. I turned around. If you are looking for a 4x4 adventure this could be for you. For everyone else go the long way.
Report Check-InRoad is still closed. The military will make you take the detour by the East. Not sure why though
