NOTE - CAMPING NOT PERMITTED
Large dirt parking lot next to river. Minutes walking to old town and even on a Friday night surprisingly quiet. No bathrooms nearby (nearest are restrooms and showers at the yacht club about 250 meters away and showers are 45 pesos there) and no place really to pee, so best for rigs with toilets. No one cared we were here, really great town. Free. It's a bit tricky to get here. From Av General Flores head south on Ituzaingo. Then take the first right on 18 de Julio. OSM has this street marked as one way but it isn't on that block which will likely confuse your gps. From there just head past the plazas and you'll get kicked out right next to the parking area.

some one from the city authority asked as to leaf the place. No overnight "camping" with motorhomes in this areal anymore. They adviced us to drive to the camping municipal. But this place was closed. Stupid ! So we left the town.
Report Check-Invery pleasant and quiet but during the day after a guy in a white pickup came and told us (and to the other camper not far from us) that it is not allowed to park nor to drive in the old town, and told us to go to camping outside the town (a local guy told us to NOT go there!). we didn't argue as we were about to leave...
Report Check-InBig parking area at the best view point. Quiet at night in the old city! Perfect but no facilities around
