There’s a lot of construction zones in the near vicinity but we found a place near the waterway. A big muddy too due to rains.

There is a dirt parking lot beside the convention center that appears to be parking for fishermen. We parked overnight with no issues, however there is some coming and going if the fishermen. One guy loves loud music on the way to work! We walked to the convention center in the evening and took a free ferry to the riverfront and enjoyed a wonderful walk around the historic district.

We stayed one night. Like previous people said the employees show up at 6:30am. I would suggest parking as close to the building as possible, while remaining in the rv lot, if you get close enough you can use their wifi. I would also open windows on the convention center side of the rig only while sleeping if needed as the employees park at the rear of the lot and may make noise arriving. 4 stars as it is a little pricey with no hookups but great location.

I think 30$ it's expensive for this place without water, electricity or dump station.
But for us, a family with a 26' RV it's a good solution to visit the townwirh a safe place for your motorhome and be sure to have a quiet night.
The good thing is the free boat shuttle for the dowtown, qo you have to walk 5mn take the boat and your are in town.
If I remember the shuttle stop around midnight.
And you have also some free shuttle bus in town.
So you have only to pay this place if you visit Savannah .
May there is other place in town but with a big rig I'm not sure.
Enjoy this town.

I was here 2 weeks ago for 1 week for FREE and I'm back since 3 days but this morning a security guy told me that it's not free for overnight. It's $30..per night !! with no service. Very expensive. So no choice to find another place -_-

This was an awesome find. There was some foot traffic from workers at the convention center coming and going to work. But overall it was a nice quiet place to stay. Plenty of room but the roads are a little bit bumpy. The ferry is directly behind the convention center and very punctual. It is free and takes you right to the river front shopping and restaurants. There was a soccer tournament the weekend I was here and they were food trucks at lunchtime how convenient! Would definitely stay here again.

Open area next to Convention Center. Quiet, free, no hassles, and a close walk to the free Savannah Belles Ferry which takes you across the river to downtown avoiding parking fees snd city driving.

Very quiet parking next to the official convention centre parking. Highly recommended. We only stayed one night, but I guess it would not be a problem to stay several days. The ferry takes you to the city every 20 to 30 mins and you have a ferry back until midnight

Meh. Mosquitoes were horrific. Staff started pulling in around 6:30. Nearest bathroom is at the hotel, but that’s a short trek and requires some stealth if your boondocking it. Next time I’m ninja camping in Savannah, I’m aiming for the Kroger’s in the middle of town, across the street from that really cool cafe.

Great place, quiet, and free!!! Easy to get to- stayed two nights in a camper van, and drove into town each day so we could bring our dog.

Went to the visitors center and they said we could not stay there anymore. They suggested the convention centre. There is a exhibitors entrance with a large grassed area to the right of the centre. Stayed here for 2 nights. Free ferry across the river to the historical town. Wonderful.

Quiet place right next to the parking lot of the International Trade and Convention Center. Free ferry to the historic center. The place is recommended by the tourist information.
