Something not right?

Description

Very long beach with hills in the background westside. Good spot to sleep in the open parking (hard sand / rocky) right on the beach. Close to the Marines so should be safe. We had to go downtown so we slept on the malecon instead.

n'y allez pas. c'est un gris dépôt d'ordures

Report Check-In

The piles of washed up debris and driftwood make it impossible to park on the beach. We stayed off the side of the access road, which the marines said was fine. Sand fleas were terrible, and water was dirty. We did however feel very safe, and the marines made sure to keep watch of us all night. I would only come here if you don't have anywhere else safe. Check the road warning, the drive in was really rough.

Report Check-In

Just spent one night. Lots of garbage. I chose so seek forgiveness rather than permission. No one came no problems. Small Lot. Had to disconnect the car to turn around. Parked here in a 25' Class C towing a car.

Report Check-In

We asked Marines if we could stay the night and received a negative answer. It possibly depends on the night and who's on duty, or you could ask for forgiveness rather than permission. Decent spot to spend a night or a couple of hours on the beach, which is nice and uncrowded but does have a bit of trash

Report Check-In

We ask Marines for an overnight stay. They said yes. We had a peaceful and undisturbed night. We parked 60 m from their base on a gravel parking lot.
