Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We spent here one rainy night after visiting Reserva Santa Elena (which was great, not to many tourists). Just a several meters down the road next to the sign of Reserva Santa Elena (see the photo). During the evening only one motorcycle went up,then again in the morning after 6:45.
Report Check-InHad to persuade the guard to let us stay the night in our camper truck. He wanted us to park 20 metres further away but the land sloped too much to be comfortable. He phoned his boss who said it was ok. During our 3.5 hour walk through the reserve we saw very little wild life. We did see a troupe of monkeys and a tarantula.
