....
A really nice and quiet parking spot on grass, right in the historical centre. Toilets in walking distance at the tourist office are open during daytime, the lower toilets right behind the office are open at night. We met other overlanders here too. Free, quiet, scenic, close to old town. Shower (charge) at the city marina, about 1km away.

We tried coming here for the night. After a few minutes, a guy came and told us it was prohibited to park there, even worse spend the night, as the area belong to a UNESCO protected site. We moved to the Plaza Mayor (see other iOverlander spot nearby)

Report Check-In

Parking very conveniant close to historic centre.
I just Park there for 4 hours during day time, without problem.
my motor home is 2m55 whith, and no problem, see the picture 😉

Report Check-In

Considered this place for daytime parking with campervan. But, cannot recommend it.
There are iron posts on the access road and iron chains, blocking it. Even though one lane was open I did not drive through.
To get to the actual spot you would need to drive over a nasty curbstone. This place seems no longer accessible for campervans.

Report Check-In

We slept at this quiet place and nobody really cared. We arrived around 23.00. We didn't see any guard and policemen didn't come either, so we had a very quiet night's sleep. The next morning, though, around 11.00, we were told to move the car, as the parking is occupied only by residents or business owners of the street. So I would say, you can stay there, as long as you arrive late and leave early.

Report Check-In

We couldn’t find any reason why this place should be closed. Although we didn’t stay overnight, we think it should be possible.

Report Check-In

This place is permanently closed.

Report Check-In

very noisy (loud motorcycles and music during the night), much traffic at the road/roundabout (although it's a dead end), toilets are ok-ish (at night only the dirty mens toilet is open). Many locals and tourists wandering around during the day. I do not recommend this place as overnight location, but it's ok to park your car here for a visit of the historic center.

Report Check-In

There is no sign that you may not camp or park there. When we came 2 other campers confirmed that they camped for 3 days here with out any problems. However, the carguard told us not to camp here. We ignored him, as we thought he has maybe his own agenda, because everyone is staying here for overnight. In the middle of the night the police came, and said that we had to leave. So we left, knowing that the others were just lucky.
