160 Rand per person without power site. Also 160 Rand for kids up to 10.
Nice campsite both wonderful view.
Nice camp, still the same price. Everything was clean. Beware of baboons !!!
Report Check-InSpent 4 nights here. Beautiful, clean, helpful staff. Electricity, ablutions, flat camping - all good. Perfect starting point for trails. ZAR 130 pppn for a roof top tent with electricity.
Report Check-InStill same prices. Very good campsite. Clean with all that you need. The view is amazing and from here you can go hiking (many walks) we did a little one about 45 minutes and the other one to the bigest waterfall : from the campsite it's 20 km and it's quite hard !!!
Report Check-InTypical SAN Parks site with excellent facilities for wood, a shop, friendly staff, well maintained, very safe. When we arrived there was a huge storm and the camp site was flooded. We opted for a chalet and stayed 3 nights. If you go, hike The Gorge Trail to the waterfalls. The hike and views of the Amphitheatre are not to be missed. And walk the short way to Cascades for a swim.
Report Check-Innice and clean , great views 150 r per adult per night , has a great washing machin and dryer for 15 r each
Report Check-InWell kept, friendly staff, green grass to camp on, ample camping sites and clean ablutions.
Report Check-InPerfect base for hikes in the valley of Royal Natal National Park. Good abolutions, laundry facilities, friendly staff. Easy to reach including with big rigs. Note: if you follow Google, it takes you down the wrong road through the village. It has many potholes and at the end of the road, you get to a bridge that is (temporarily) closed. Instead, take the turnoff to Royal Natal National Park right after the "Tower of Pizza". Tarmac Road all the way in a very good condition.
Report Check-InSuch a nice place to stay as a start point for day hikes in Royal Natal. From te camping you can only see a tip of the Amfitheater, but once you make the Gorge Hike, you see the hole Amfitheater.
The camping has security (also against the Baboons), laundry building, clean/hygienic sanitary buildings and a play area for kids. the camping does not have a lot of shade, as non-indiginous trees were cut down, but if shade is needed, there are some trees you can use.
Due Covid the camping is only used 10-20% right now, so we are lucky with all the facilities to ourselves.
Report Check-InAmazing!
Everything clean, hot showers, spectacular views, quiet place.
More than 20 different walks, you can stay a little bit longer.
We paid 260 ZAR, for 2, 1 night with pensioner discount, without power
Amazing views. Ablutions all clean and neat with hot water. Nice green grass, cut regularly. Sites are not very level takes a while to get leveled. Powerpoint’s and water at some sites. Laundry with coin operated machines.
Report Check-InEverything still as said before. Nice grassy campsite with a beautiful view. They planted some new trees, but it will take them some years to spend shade. Ablutions old, but clean. Enjoy the hot showers, the water pressure is worth the stay
Report Check-InVery nice campsite. Unfortunately they had to cut a lot of trees. Many spots have few or no shade. Ablutions okay, separate kitchen block. Very nice view and very good hiking trails from here. Enjoy the little river pools at the Cascades Falls 15 min walk from the camp! Paid 360 ZAR for 2 nights for 2 people in 1 car (they said it was off-season discount!). Would definitely go again!
Report Check-InBig campsite, ablutions okay. Price still R260 for 2 persons and car
Report Check-InNice and big campground. They were doing some maintenance of 1 of the abblutionblocks.
Bathrooms ok beautiful surroundings for hiking.
260 rand pppn
Report Check-InHere you have to make reservation for camp. If you stay for a night you don't pay entry fee to park, you pay only for accomodation. In the morning lady told us 280 for 2 of us for camping without electricity. And when we finished trecking, at 4 pm we asked again and guy found for us camping place for 176 zar for 2 of us.
Entry fee is 160 for 2 so we payed only 16 zar for a night :)
Nice campground and facilities. R130pp non-electric site. Great hiking. Gorge hike to see the Amphitheatre a must!
Report Check-InNice spot good starting point for hikes. We did Tiger Falls 3h, and Thugela gorge 7h. ablution clean, sites grassy some with shade. 120Rppn for sites with power (we paid 72 Rppn, 40%discount until march 27).
Report Check-InNice place with a great view, with or without electricity, with or without shadow. Many ablutions, simple but clean. Washing mashine for 10R, cold water only. Nice hiking trips. The hike 'crack and mudslide' is quite steep with ladders and chain down, but very nice views. The shop in the visitorcenter has basic food and some frozen meat and fish.
Good 3G connection with MTN.
It's main season.
They charge 390R for 2p per night.....We left
Nice sites on lawn, some under trees well maintained. From campsite no view on the Amphitheater! Lots of good hiking trails with spektacular views!
