Report Check-In

park Puyehue campground campsites a bit muddy, picnic table and fire pit. No fires allowed due to fire danger. Park staff friendly. Bathrooms dirty , no sign of any maintenance crew. Very few hooks in bathroom to hang up clothes or towel while showering. Hot water available.

Report Check-In

We cannot share the good rating. no electricity, we had to connect our camper in the toilet. untidy and many things are broken. all the sanitary facilities are dirty. the location would be very nice.

Report Check-In

Provide cabanas and have a camping. They also have a small restaurant. Owner Mauricio is a very friendly guy who welcomes you with open arms. Good place to camp/stay before crossing the border to Argentina. The site is a starting point for several short walking trails to waterfalls. Cabanas (quite luxorious) are 50.000 Chileans pesos for 2-4 people, 60.000 for 5-6 people. Amazing place out in nature!

Report Check-In

Nice big, secluded campspots with electricity, light and firepit. We paid 18.000 CLP for two persons and car with rooftoptent. The toilet and showers are okayish, the doors don't close and it's a bit dirty, but the water was hot.

Report Check-In

Campsite very close to the Puyehue NP with small footpath to a beautiful waterfall straight from the campsite. Secluded sites in the middle of the native forest. Some sites with electricity. Showers/toilet building dirty but hot shower. Nice restaurant open until 6:30 pm. WiFi at restaurant when open. Friendly manager Chris who advised us on hikes to take (Casablanca volcano climb). 18k CLP per night

Like another reviewer said similar set up to national parks in the US. Pretty private campsites with power, table and bench, and fire pit. Bathrooms were not the cleanest but weren't disgustingly filthy either. Very hot water that fluctuates in temperature wildly, had to fiddle the knobs every 10 seconds. No TP and empty soap dispenser. Now 18,000 pp/pn. Campground charges for access to several trails shown in the NP brochure. Unsure if they were charging for access or if they owned the land... Salto La Princesa was dry when we were there but there is another waterfall beyond. 4,000 pp to hike or included if you camp. You can park across the street outside the gate to the NP guardhouse and hike the three over there for free, although one was closed when we visited. Young man at front spoke English.

We stayed 2 nights and really really liked our camping spot (#12), all the way in the back, secluded, dark and quiet! Not a good one for sun tho, others where better. The bathrooms are filthy! The showers are hot! No electric at the sites but plug ins work in the bathrooms. So it’s a trade off. Was supposed to be 15,000 a night per site but we didn’t pay due to a miscommunication between the girl at the guard house and whoever was supposed to take our money. We hiked all 4 trails (2 on the other side of the highway), the big trees are awesome!

Report Check-In

just visited, now they want to have 15.000 peso for two. and you have to pay 1.000 peso Po at the entry of the park

Important update.
Main facilities where burnt. They still have cabins, camping and they are opening a new restaurant.
We was complete alone, but safe and really quiet.
We want to explain because look totally different in contrast to others comments.

Big camping place. Big rigs, cars, tents. They have cabañas too. Maybe you find close the gateway but it’s just find the guy. Toilets are not completly clean and no light... but works Place for wash dishes (no clean); tablets at sites. No energy even at bathrooms. Quiet place with walking and trek trails. Well located close to Chile Custom. This is not a new place and look no totally well mantein.

Report Check-In

12000 pesos for the camping area during the low season. We were alone.
Bathrooms were durty, cold water, no Wifi and electricity just in the bathroom.
Its a private camping. Ask the rangers if its posible to pitch the tent on the other side of the road.
Nice small walking trails.

Owners are really nice, offering us coffee and tea when coming in at the reception after a rainy day of cycling. The reception is at the restaurant which is a nice place where you can warm up at the fireplace. They serve good food there and keep a nice atmosphere. The campsite seems nice, however the bathrooms were quite dirty and could use an upgrade.

Report Check-In

Spacious sites, good shelter from wind and rain from the trees. Still no Wi-Fi.

Report Check-In

Prices increased to $6,0000 pppn. They have website with prices. Restaurant burned down, so they are rebuilding now and wifi will be back when they reopen that. In the meantime they will give you wifi password which works at cabana #3. Men's hot showers are cray hot...and awesome. Women's hot shower wasn't working while we were there due to storm that came through two days prior. Hikes although not strenuous or far, take you to two amazing waterfalls. We loved it. Look for the big hollow tree on the Indio trail...our 5 year old thought it was the bomb.

Paid 240 Argentinean pesos for the night alone in early November. no one else was camping here. campsite number 9 was getting the earliest sunlight .

HORRIBLE OWNER !!

Made us pay 9000 PCL for a spot, when all the spots were actually taken .. Went back to the office and they offered us a mody place without electricity (when the others were clean with plugs). Didn’t want to offer us a discount nor pay us back !

Report Check-In

Now is 15.000 pesos for two persons. We don’t stay here as this is not suitable for very big rigs. The campings close to ‘Entre Lagos’ have the same price and are better.

Report Check-In

Nice sites with picknick table and grill. Bring some own wood, its wet in the forest. Nice hot showers and good price. We paid 9000 for 2 persons per night. Don't come for the trekking here its 15 min walk max. WiFi [Password removed by moderator.]

Pretty and convenient campsite. Multiple lush hikes. Friendly staff. 9,000 for two people. Hot showers, dishwashing sink and individual light and electric socket per campsite.

Report Check-In

Many shaded campsites downhill from main lodge. $4.500clp per person.

Plug-ins at sites, hot showers, running water and toilet seats. Place to wash dishes/laundry. So-so WiFi in main lodge only. Fire place in main lodge is great on rainy days.

Three short trails start from campsite. Some climbing (sport and trad) at nearby cliffs.

No cats, but a fox came by the car. No fear of humans.

Report Check-In

Really nice campsite, super peaceful, felt as if we were back in the national parks in the States. Lots of areas separated by bushes and trees. Electricity, light, table+ seats at each site, and hot water in the shower! There are three short hikes (<2km) that start here and lead to pretty waterfalls (no need to pay, I believe the paid walks are on the other side of the highway). The rate now is 9,000 for two people. Highly recommended.

Lovely campsites in a wooded area. We stayed 2 nights and had hot showers and walked all the trails. Total delight. We paid 8000 per night for two people and a van

Report Check-In

Paid also 9000 Pesos a night for two and a small van. Quiet campsite in the woods.

Report Check-In

Nice campground in the woods, next to the waterfalls. We stayed here (instead of the aquas caliente) and had a wonderful night. Camping with clean toilets, hot water, firepits, light and electricity at each site and a very friendly owner. Wifi at the reception, good enough for sharing some thoughts at Facebook or iOverlander. We payed 9000 for two adults and one camper.

Report Check-In

1000pesos/person to access to the waterfall. Worth it! Really nice lounge/restaurant. The WiFi is not so bad. You can charge your device in the restaurant.

Report Check-In

We asked and stayed in the parking area for free. 1000 Pesos p.P. for the hikes to the waterfalls - worth it! Internet is available but slow. [Password removed by Moderator.]. There is a restaurant too with a nice atmosphere.

Report Check-In

We didn't stay here, but looked nice. Great hiking trails around. 3500 peso per person.
